'What?! I'm... I'm fired?!'
'Mm!' the director said smiling, being very happy.
Min shooked her head and looked strangely at her boss.
„Why is he so happy to fire me? Did I upset him?" she thought.
'Can I ask you why? I can't really understand...'
'You can't work at two companies at the same time, right?' the director said still similing.
'But...what? I don't work at another company at the same time... I don't understand.' Min said confused.
'Now you do!' He laughed. He turned his laptop's screen to Min. The Jellyfish's logo was on the screen.
Min was staring at the little and shiny screen, without understanding what her boss was trying to tell her.
'Congratulations Kim HyoMin! You were hired as a photographer at Jellyfish entertainment!'
'What?! Min said and gasped. 'M-me?! Where... I was hired?!'
The director laughed.
' Why are you so shocked? Somebody had to discover your talent sooner or later. You really deserve this job and it would be a shame to loose this occasion. What do you think? Do you want to accept this offer?
'Can I go outside for a moment? I... I need some fresh air.' Min said pointing to the door.
'Yes! Please.'
Min got out from the boss' office and went to the bathroom. She opened the cold water valve and wet her face several times then she whiped her eyes with the right arm. She took a deep breath and chills passed her spine that made her tremble.
She turned back tothe office.
'Have you made a decision?' the director said, smiling.
'Yes...' she said and took a deep breath. She clenched her fists. 'I'll do it!'
'Perfect! Wait a moment! I'll call the director of the agency to inform him about your decision and to meet to sign the contract.
Min got out of the office and put her back against the door. She walked slowly toward her desk full of calendars and photos with different landscapes that she made some weeks ago. She smiled without realizing. She was satisfied. She won't have to be an amateur photographer who just make photos of trees and birds anymore. And she will be closer to Leo.
Her work colleagues looked curious at Min, wanting to know why she was called by the director.
Two men dressed in suit entered the studio. They seemed business men. They entered the director's office then Min was called too.
Min sat on one of the armchairs form the office, the director sitting next to her, and in front of them, the two men, which were the Jellyfish's representatives.
One of the two men laid a paper to Min. It was the contract. Min read it carefully then she put it back on the table and took a pen. She squeezed the pen between the thumband the fore finger and stared for several minutes at the white paper in front of her eyes.
'Is it good what I'm doing?' she thought. 'Come on Min, what can be so bad? It's just a job after all... where you can always see Leo...'
Min signed the contract and put the pen on the table, breathing relieved. The two men stood up and laid their arms, one to Min and one to the director. They shook hands and Min bowed thanking to them.
The two men got out of the room and the director remained there with Min who was still thinking that it was a dream. She couldn't believe that she didn't work at that studio anymore, the studio where she had been working for almost two years and she would be a full-time photographer at a music company. She was staring into space. She couldn't believe that that was the reality.
