Sumedh was pinned up to the wall and Mallika was standing in front of him, holding his chin between her index finger and thumb while her other hand was on the wall.
Mallika: Tum kitne pyaare ho.
She squished his cheeks. He became shy.
Mallika: Kaise ho tum?
Sumedh: Theek hu. Uhh.. Angel piche hato na.😳
He said while removing her hand from his chin. She moved away, giving him space. He breathed out in relief. She held his hand.
Mallika: Aao baitho.
She made him sit on the sofa. She snapped her fingers at a servant.
Mallika: Sir ke liye pani lekar aao.
Sumedh: Angel mujhe nahi pina.
Mallika: Tumhe pina chahiye. Itni garmi hai body ko jarurat hoti hai.
The servant came with water. She took it from him and gave it to Sumedh.
Mallika: Pio.
He muttered a thanks and drank it.
Mallika: Tum kya chahte ho?
Sumedh: Mai kuch nahi chahta. Mujhe kisi cheez ki ummeed nahi hai. Meri ummeede bahut pehle hi khatam ho chuki hai. Mai bas halaat ke saath beh raha hu.
He said in a low tone.
Mallika: Tumne mujhse aaj tak kuch nahi maanga. Mai chahti hu ki tum kuch maango. Mai tumhari wish zarur puri karungi.
Sumedh: Angel... mujhe kuch nahi chahiye. Tumne pehle hi mujhe khoob saari cheeze laa kar di hai jinki mujhe jarrurat bhi nahi thi.
Mallika: Kuch to maango.
Sumedh: Angel.............. Accha thik hai. Promise karo ki tum gussa kam karogi.
He said after a long pause.
Mallika: Jaisa tum kaho.
Sumedh: Promise?
Mallika: Promise.
