61. Fairy Tale [Melix]

Felix groaned softly as he laid down in bed. Maya climbed on the bed and curled up near him. Felix softly smiled and scratched her head.

"Felix? Are you feeling any better?"

Felix propped himself up with his elbows as Marzia walked in. "A little bit."

She sat on the bed near him, gently pushing him into a laying position. "You need to get some sleep."

He smiled, and in the most childish voice he could, asked, "Can you tell me a story?"

Marzia giggled at him. "Sure."

Felix pulled Maya towards him as Marzia began talking. "Once upon a time in a kingdom that probably never existed, a young woman named Marzia lived under the rule of King Ken. One day, King Ken called for the strongest in their kingdom to go to his palace.

"Curious, Marzia decided to go, despite the protests of her mother. When she arrived, she was laughed at by the men.

"However, King Ken took her into the throne room. He told her he sensed a great deal of strength within her, and asked her to go on a mission.

"Marzia agreed immediately, hoping to help her family should she succeed. The king called in two men, one named Mark, who was extremely rambunctious, but surprisingly buff. The other man introduced himself as Cry, and wore an helmet from a suit of armor.

"They were to help the young woman on her journey. A green dragon was keeping someone prisoner. Their quest was to rescue the prisoner.

"After collecting armor and weapons, the group set out. Their travel was oddly easy, and they soon arrived to a tower, with a dragon wrapped around it.

"Together, the three raised their weapons and charged. The dragon looked down at them in confusion. He seemed to recognize Mark.

"Mark shared the dragon's confusion. As it turned out, the dragon was actually a man named Jack who had been cursed!

"They were able to rescue a man named Felix who'd need trapped in the tower. And Cry, who was secretly a sorcerer, reversed the curse on Jack.

"Marzia felt something strange when she locked eyes with Felix, who smiled shyly.

"The group of five walked back to the small kingdom. On the way back, Marzia and Felix got to know each other. They enjoyed each other's company and grew very close.

"When they arrived to their kingdom, King Ken warmly welcomed the new subjects, and rewarded Marzia, Cry, and Mark.

"Felix, Marzia, and all the others lived happily ever after."

Felix smiled as she finished the story. "So what happened to Felix and Marzia?"

Marzia giggled. "They got two pugs and moved in together. Now you need to go to sleep."

Felix smiled as she kissed his forehead. "Fiiine. Love you."

"Love you too Felix."
