_Lucys POV_

Just. Fucking. Great. Making myself seem like a weakling in front of the guild. I knew getting close to people would bring my emotions back out. I don't dislike the emotions I feel with them..I'm just not familiar with them so I don't know how to act.  Oh shit. I bet Laxus saw me..Can this get any worse?

As I'm walking I feel a hand getting thrown over my shoulder. Looking up I see his face. Damn, when was he so attractive?

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks while looking ahead. 

"How would you have reacted with knowing I was in one of the most darkest guilds? Knowing I'd killed for my own pleasure and thrill? You'd never look at me the same way.." I mutter.

"I'd still think of you the same way.. The past is the past. Its happened and we can't take it back. Yeah, we might regret what we've done but we can't change it." He says, tightening the grip on me.

"All you're doing is telling me what I want to hear..You probably feel obligated too. I understand," I reply while moving myself out of his hold, "I'll be gone my tomorrow afternoon. They'll come for me anyway, there would be nothing you could do against them if I stayed. I have enough innocent blood on my hands, I'd rather not add the deaths of Fairy Tail members as well. You guys are needed for other things than fighting for me. You can't loose all them loved and needed mages to protect me. I don't need protecting." I laugh and shake my head.

"Really now. Where the hell would you go? What would you do?" He growls angrily.

"I'd travel around, just like I did before I met you. I would run. I'm not scared of them..It's just that.." I frown not able to admit it.

"It's just what? Damn it, Lucy..Talk to me!" He runs a hand down his spiky hair.

"It's just that they know most of the weaknesses in my magic! I trained them myself!" I shouted with my eyes wide open. "They'd easily defeat you all. You wouldn't stand a chance. I can't see you all die."

"You're not leaving. You're not leaving us. And you're not leaving me. You've done enough running. We'll fight through this together. I've had enough of your bullshit about us not being strong enough. Who the fuck do you think we are? Some shitty little guild that cant protect each other? Or are you leaving because you cant handle thinking some people are better than you?" He sneers grabbing my shoulders.

"Stop caring so much. It'll turn you into a softy.. And yes, that's probably one of the reasons. Half of your powerful mages aren't at their full potential yet and they're almost as strong as my past enemies, trust me..They were powerful. I don't feel intimidated by it. It makes me feel weak being surrounded by so many vigorous people." I manage to chuckle, "I have to leave. I don't want you to get hurt.." I whisper, clutching onto his coat..

I feel him freeze under the sudden affection.. It's not like we haven't hugged before. We've known each other for months. We've basically done everything together all ready, not like anybody else but Freed knows.

_Flashback few weeks ago in Laxus's house._

"Lax! Get your ass in here! I can't reach my back!" I shout relaxing into the bath more after trying to wash my back clean from the dirt I got covered in on our last mission.

"Calm down, Blondie! I'm coming!" He yells back tumbling in the room with only a towel wrapped around his waist, "How the fuck am I suppose to do this?" He asks grabbing the sponge from my hand..Until I grip his hand along with the sponge and pull him in behind me.

"Wha- What the fuck-" I cut him off by shoving the sponge in his face.

"Shut up and wash my back. It feels horrible. You've seen me naked a lot of times.I know what a dick looks like so stop being so stiff." I groaned as he started rubbing my back.

"Jeeze. If you wanted me to bathe with you, I'd have done it a long time ago." He smirked.

Suddenly the bathroom door was forced open.

"LAXUS-SAMA! ARE YOU OKAY-" A frozen Freed stood there slowly turning pale.

_End of Flashback_

"You aren't going and that's final." As the words left his mouth it sounded awfully familiar..

"Meredy..Oh fuck.." I muttered painfully. "I left her on her own..I thought of her as my own daughter..And I just left her that easily.. I'm just like my own mother.. What a fucking hypocrite I am." 

"Come on. We're going back to the guild. We'll do something about this. I've got an idea." Laxus says kissing me on the forehead before using his Lightning to transport us back to the guild.

*LALU MOMENTS AHH! 

Yes. Lucy and Laxus are very close, even though I don't mention the things they do with each other a lot. No, they haven't had sex or kissed lustfully. At least, not yet;)
