The Armoured Demon.

Protect.

*I'm so sorry about my lack of updating. I lost my motivation. Basically, I had writers block. I kind of still do. *

*I know it's short, but I'll be writing a longer chapter later on*

_Lucy's POV_

I'm still leaving and anything Laxus says or does wont stop me. If he was me, I'm positive he'd do the same no matter what anybody said. I cant let these feelings stop-

"Stop looking so fucking guilty. You're family now, can't you see that? If Zeref himself came charging at you with an army full of demons, we'd still be by your side protecting you as much as we could." Laxus said while shoving a hand into his pocket.

"He's right. We protect our comrades no matter what.  Stop being stubborn, Lucy." Evergreens voice said as we stood in the centre of the guild hall, hundreds of eyes focusing on just me and Laxus.

"I'm sure Makarov disagrees with you all. Isn't that right, Master?" I chuckle at the surprised looks that are sent to him.

"You're correct. I'm sorry, but I cant put my children at risk. You're family but getting others involve will start a war. A war we are guaranteed to lose given the guild we are against. We have to be clever about this." Master sighs at the amount of protests are heard throughout the guild.

"Everybody shut up! He's perfectly right. Given the circumstance, you'd all lose.  The whole, 'Family gives us strength' shit wont work against them. Purely because they kill without hesitation, much like me," I smiled. "I've managed book myself an Inn near Crocus. I'll probably head to Desierto Desert in a few weeks, you know, better to keep on the move.." I laugh, rubbing my shoulder while looking down at my feet.

"What?! NO! I've told you this. You.Are.Not.Leaving. I'm not giving you an option here." Laxus growled as he grabbed onto my arm.

"I promised you nothing, Laxus. My decision has been made. Nothing will change my plans. I'm going." I turn my full attention onto Master, "There will be no harm on any Fairy Tail mages. If there is an attack, I'll know. I've put a magic alarm on your hand. The instant anything happens, I'll be alerted and I'll get here as quickly as I can. The only reason I can think of that they'd attack while I'm not here is to get my attention. By now, they probably know about my plans. I'm betting they have had a spy here all day." I declare. 

"I shall be leaving first thing in the morning. Makarov, I don't think I'll be needing this mark any-more." I smiled.

"My child, I cannot tell you how grateful I am. You shall always be a Fairy in our hearts." 

Suddenly the whole guild stands up with the Fairy Tail hand sign.

"Even if I can't see you.. No matter how far you may be...I will always be watching you." I smile before walking out the guild, quietly.

As I make it in my room, I felt a pain in my chest.. 

Suddenly, I'm slammed into the wall with hot lips pressed against my own.
