Something was wrong, something was so very wrong and Jackie couldn't figure out what it was. Something was seriously up with Shauna, and at first she thought it was all the weird magic crap going on in the freaky cabin, it definitely wasn't the plane crash though, the funny behaviour had started after.
She didn't quite know how to deal with her best friend pulling away from her. This was Shauna, she was still a virgin for christs sakes so what could it be. Jackie paused in trying to fix her walkman as she considered something. Could Shauna be a lesbian? Was that what this was about? Jackie nodded to herself as she stood up, wandering off into the woods deep in thought. This sort of thing would need to be handled delicately. She didn't want her her best friend to think that their friendship was over, or that she was weirded out by the whole thing.
"Shauna...listen Shauna..." Jackie mumbled to herself as she paced back and forth, trying to figure out how to bring this up, to let her know everything was okay. "I know...you know...no thats not right. What about...it's okay you like girls even though I don't but I still want to be best friends so please stop pulling away from me even though I started this whole stupid thing by pretending to like Mari?" Jackie sighed to herself, running a hand through her hair. "That sounds so patronising."
