That first night in my new bed - my new life - was incredible. I slept hard like a rock. I woke up to an alarm clock - Faye's I assumed - buzzing loud. I look up and see Faye completely dressed walking over to the clock and turning it off.

"Hey sleepy head. Good morning." Faye said giving me a huge smile "Breakfast starts in ten minutes so you should start getting ready."

I sit up in my bed - the new information about my life still sinking in - and stretch my arms and legs. "Thanks for waking me up, I kind of forgot all about having to wake up." I said.

"No problem, I'm usually up before that alarm goes off, it's more like a back-up, if I were to ever sleep in." she said laughing. "So I still have some things I need to fill you in on, the majority will have to be a learn-as-you-go-along type-deal. But now you need to know that we don't necessarily have to wear uniforms but we do have to wear blue - you have other colors of clothing for outside of class, but in class hours you have to wear your Goddess color."

"Okay that sounds good I guess." Uniforms weren't ever a big deal to me because my parents were in the military. "Is it all blue? Or is it just a blue shirt or something?" I asked curiously.

Faye started to grin. "All blue. Trust me you will find blue jeans, blue skirts, blue dresses, blue dress pants, blue shorts, and blue tights even."

I just burst out laughing at that last part. "Well this should be fun."

"Of course it will! Now hurry and get dressed so we can get some food." Faye said excitedly.

I jumped out of bed and hurried over to my closet. Looking in my closet now I could definitely see the majority of blue. I rummaged around until I found a blue long sleeve shirt and a pair of blue shorts. I change in my closet and look in my wall length mirror next to the door. I looked like a whale. I found some blue socks - of course I thought - and a pair of blue converses; I picked those over the regular sneakers because converses were part of my old life - part of something I wanted to hold on to. I quickly run a brush through my hair and step out of my closet, I notice Faye is dressed in blue jeans and a blue t-shirt.

"Well don't you look stunning" Faye says laughing "ready for breakfast?"

"Duh" I say.

"Well what are you waiting for? Let's go." Faye says rushing towards the door.

"Wait" I say coming to a stop "don't we have books? Or something we need to bring to class?"

"No we don't bring anything from class back here; all of our things are in a locker in our first class of the day. You'll get used to it." She smiled "Now can we go?"

"Yes let's go."

Faye took the lead and I followed. She led me down the hall through the Sapphires' main room and outside. Getting here late last night and seeing everything for the first time was amazing, but I didn't realize how much different it would be in the daytime. Birds were chirping, people were laughing, and the sun was shining hot on my skin. Everything around me was full of life and joy. In this moment that I stepped outside I was truly happy and had no fear. I was scared that I wouldn't make friends - well I wasn't anymore - I was scared of what people would think of me - but now I wasn't. Faye took off down the sidewalk towards the main building in the center of everything. The Sapphires' dorms were the furthest away from everything - back in a corner I would say - so it took longer to get to places. It was quiet most of the walk I'm sure Faye knew I was still taking in all the beauty of the Temple. We were finally getting closer when Faye spoke.

"This is where it starts. You'll meet my friends, we'll get some breakfast and after I'll take you to Miss. V. Don't be afraid my friends are so nice and they know about you and knew your mom too." She said smiling.

"Uh...okay." I said giving her a half smile.

Faye and I were outside the biggest building in the Avalon Temple and it was mesmerizing. It was gold and silver with intricate design patterns all over. Faye took my hand and slowly pulled me after her. The first thing I notice once inside is the wooden doors all around - what's up with wooden doors? I thought. There were spiral staircases on the left and the right both leading to the same place upstairs. Paintings on the walls, statues all around, a huge circular table sat in the middle of the room - which I would call a 'lobby' or 'waiting area' by the looks of it - right in between the two stair cases. Faye finally lets go of my hand and walks to the right towards the closest wooden door. She looks over her shoulder at me and says "well are you hungry or what?" and gestures to come to her. I did as she said of course. Once I'm beside her she opens the door and steps in to a room filled with chatter, laughter, and just plain noise. I quickly follow close to her because my nerves just went jumping into a high speed chase. The room was a lunch room - a cafeteria. There must have been thirty huge circular black tables filled with people, mostly wearing yellow, a lot wearing red, very few wearing blue, and I only see two people wearing purple. All the way in the back I see a huge line - people getting their lunch - and Faye immediately pulls me towards the line.
