Tay's POV

I got up the next morning around 6:30ish. I got out of bed and put my school uniform on, which consisted of a very ugly green polo and plaid grey skirt. Man I thought to myself I wouldn't miss this that's for sure. I headed downstairs and made my self some coffee. I headed out the door after that and was on my way to school. Getting to school didn't take as long as I thought it would. Hmm all the other schools must be out already. I got out of my truck and almost immediately a weird scent hit my nose. The scent wasn't unpleasant it smelled like cinnamon and the woods. After just standing there for a little while, I decided to follow the scent. After walking into the science building and down the west stairs into the commons I finally found the scent, and it was coming from the guy who had transferred last semester, Dante. He seemed to notice me standing there and turned around. Almost hitting me in the face.

" Mate " He said with almost pitch black eyes.

What in the hell was a mate? And most importantly why did he call me that?

" Tay?" Dante said gently

" Sorry, but what did you just call me?" I asked Dante

" I called you my mate."

" What in the hell is a mate Dante?"

" You don't know do you?"

" What don't I know?" I asked getting more and more confused by the moment.

Dante turned to one of his close friends, who I recognized as Cody.

" Tell the office we will be taking the day off." Dante told Cody

Cody began to walk to office after Dante told him that. Dante then quickly turned his attention back to me.

" Tay, I promise I will tell you everything as soon as we get out of here" with that being said he grabbed my hand and began leading me to his car.

" Dante I can't just skip school, " I protested as he was dragging me to his car.

" Tay don't make this more difficult than it had to be "

Really Dante I thought to myself this is going to be difficult considering 1) I didn't know him that well and 2) he wanted me to skip school.

I continued to resist Dante, until he just got fed up and threw me over his shoulder and kept walking.

" Dante!!!" I screamed, " Put me down!"

" Sorry love no can do" He said with a smirk on his face. The next thing I knew I was being put in his car and we were driving away from the school.

" Okay Dante you owe me some answers, " I said

" I suppose I do. Well there is a lot I need to tell you but how about I start with what I am."

"What you are Dante?" I asked raising my eyebrow at him

" I am not what you think. I go by many names, shifter of the moon, and children of the moon. But the most known is werewolf."

What in the hell have I gotten myself into Tay ? Dante had to be crazy werewolf's do not exist.

" Prove to me you are what you say you are. "

" okay" Dante said pulling the car over. We were next to nowhere. He got out of the car and began to take his clothes off. What in the world was going on ? I got out of the car and saw where Dante was standing a beautiful but rather large black wolf . Holy crap werewolves were real. Does that make me one ? I walked up to Dante and reached my hand out to pet him. As soon as I touched him I felt what I thought were little sparks run thought me.
