His Subjects

I'm going crazy. Yea, that's what is going on right now. There wasn't anyway I was mated to the king of Alphas
"My dear you are." Dante said scaring me out of my thoughts.
" Dante !" I yelled. "Would you be so kind as to stay out of my head."
Dante just held his hands up in defeat and started backing up.
" I'm sorry Dante. This is just a lot for me to take in."
" I know my love, just remember I'm here for you. "
" Thanks." I awkwardly said"
" Well my lovely mate, you need to get ready for the pack dinner."
The pack dinner? So today I had only just found out that 1) I'm his mate 2) he's the king of alphas. And now he wants me to meet the pack. This was happening all too soon.
" Don't worry I'm sure they will love you ."
With that being said I walked into the bathroom, picked out the dress and hopped in the shower. I was surprised to see they had my exact shampoo and conditioner I used. Showering only took me about 15 minutes. I then slipped the dress on and did my makeup. I walked out of the bathroom only to have Dante staring at me.
"My dear you look stunning." Dante said
My cheeks turned a crimson red before I muttered out a thank you. Dante didn't look too bad himself. He had on a royal blue shirt to match my dress and a black sports coat on.
" Do you like what you see?" Dante asked smirking
" Yes I do," I told Dante boldly.
Dante just threw his head back in laughter.
" You sure will be giving me a run for my money, little mate."
Not knowing if that was a good thing, I raised my eye brows at him. As if to ask what he meant.
"Don't worry it is a good thing.Now shall we get going?" Dante asked .
Dante then took my hand and led me to the back yard. To say that it was beautiful would be the least. Tables upon tables were set up. I didn't realize so many People were coming. In all honesty I'm nervous. I'm not sure I'm ready to lead this people. I soon found Dante and I's table and sat down by him.
" Dante, there are so many people here." I said sheepishly.
" I know my love but you'll get used to the numbers, I am after all the King of Alphas ."
After Dante had said this, which didn't make me feel the slightest bit better, a rather large red head walked up to him.
"Hello Dante." she purred. " it's been a long time hasn't it."
Okay who the hell was she and why was she talking to my mate this way? I look over at Dante for some confirmation as to who she was. He cleared his throat and began talking
" Hello Gabi, yes it has been a long time."
" Who is this you have with you surely not your date." she said as she was eyeing me with disgust.

" She is in fact my date and My Mate." Dante said with the utmost confidence. 

" That rather unfortunate, surely you've told her Dante," Gabi said with a smirk on her face.

" Told me what?" I questioned.

All the attention was turned to Dante, awaiting his answer. 

" Well, my love when my father was still Alpha, he needed to form an alliance with Gabi's pack. He thought the best way would be to marry me to her. But I assure you my dear, I will not marry her."

Well, to be honest, I did not see this coming. This only fueled my disgust for her. I mean the audacity she had, showing up here knowing that I was Dantes mate. My thoughts were interrupted by the one and only she-devil.

" Dante dear, what is all this past talking, you're still going to marry me." Gabi flaunted. 

" Gabi, I don't know who you are, but you've clearly lost it. This is my mate and you will not be marrying him." I said as I pulled Dante closer to me. 

"Honey," she said. Her voice dripping with sarcasm. " Get your hands off Dante before, I have my Daddy dispose of you." 

I was about to say something before Dante spoke for me.

" That is enough!!!" Dante roared. " Gabi, please control yourself and leave my mate alone. Or there will be consequences." 

" Tisk, Tisk Dante. You'll regret this. One way or another you will come back to me."
