Artemis' POV
---------------------

I got up, admiring our work as HYDRA agents poured out of their base, guns in hand.

"A-2 is being deployed."

I gazed up and saw the remaining members of our "squad" jumped down and run into the building, most likely looking for Alina.

"Artemis!"

My eyes snapped to Miss M, who was struggling against... Oh. Yep, I am so going down there.

I ran out of my spot, ignoring Ollie and Roy's shouts and grabbed an arrow, shooting it at Janine. She caught it with ease and looked up and smirked at me.

I smirked back as the arrow began beeping and exploded in her hand. M'gann ran towards me and yelled something at me, but I couldn't make out the words.

Suddenly, I felt my body being tackled to the ground, and someone holding my head in a death grip, shoving my face into the dirt. My bow flew out of my hands and I grit my teeth in annoyance and pain.

"End of the line little girl." A man's voice sneered. I growled and used all my strength to flip over under his weight, successfully doing so and shoving him off me, grabbing my bow and shooting him with a net-arrow. Pretty self-explanitory, right?

"Nice moves little girl."

I whirled around and aimed an arrow at the source of the voice, narrowing my eyes.

"Thanks." I replied coldly.

"Although, you may not be expecting..."

I knew exactly where this was going, and I jumped out of the way as she dropped and swung her leg around, close enough to barely trip me.

"Artemis!"

Man, what's with everyone and my name?

I shot another arrow, and was joined by my fellow archers, which was cool because I was surrounded from the sides and back. Someone get the camera...!

"I'm fine." I breathed, not realizing I was holding in a breath.

"Huh, Alina sure did train you well." Janine mused, standing up with ease.

"How do you know she trained them?" Ollie asked, dangerously low. "No one told you anything."

"Ah, but you forget I'm a genius. Smarter than Lathena."

My mouth dropped open and I readied anoher arrow, but she, or it, flickered a bit and a scowl crossed her lips, grasping her stomach.

"Alina..." I caught her grumbling under her breath. I ran forwards angrily and swung my bow at her, but she disappeared.

"Dammit!" I swore, and not so quietly.

"Let's go."

I looked up to see Superboy staring hadd at me, and I nodded, running into the hole created by one of the A-2 members.
