Ruby Sorceress stood outside, arms crossed over her chest and eyes sharply darting from place to place.

Beside her, Amethyst was floating a few meters off the ground, mimicking her eye movement.

AJ turned back into her werewolf form; red eyes signalling her status as an Alpha/ Luna with enlarged canines and deadly claws.

Their counter parts, Cap, Robin and Liam were all behind them, watching thair backs, literally, everyone walking around and guarding the former home.

The gang decided to take refuge at the burnt mansion, the Hale Mansion,  where they met another ally, tall, brooding, dark haired Derek Hale, AKA AJ's older brother.

The others were also paired up and inside the invisible Mountain Ash barrier, circling the property.

Amethyst pursed her lips, shaking slightly and landed, staring at the ground blankly.

"Twilight no!" Robin's voice yelled as her body plummeted to the ground, hitting the pavement hard.

Blood dripped from her chest, where she had been shot just moments before by the purple flash that was now flying away.

Robin, the only witness to the assassination, ran over and cradled the darkly clad corpse in his arms.

"Don't die Arielle." He hissed, brushing the bloody strands of hair away from her face.

"It's hard for someone to die when someone's yapping in their ear." She stated weakly, smiling slightly, eyes fluttering shut.

"I said DON'T DIE!" The vigilante shouted desperately, tears leaking theough his domino mask, digging through his utility belt.

Amethyst sighed softly and shakily reached out for his hand pressing it to her cheek.

"I'm not dead." She whispered, using the last of her strength to squeeze his hand ressuringly before falling limp.

Robin let out a strangled sob and leant down to her face and-

"Arielle?"

Robin stood beside her at her shoulder, placing his hand at the small of her back.

"I'm not dead." She said with a small smile, looking up at him with teary eyes. "Yet."

He chuckled and nodded, a slight blush on his face.
"I can tell. Batman told me about it. And you won't die."

Amethyst sighed and stared up at the moon, which was partically blocked by the branched of the trees surrounding them.

"How do you trust me so easily?" She asked softly, not tearing her eyes from the sky. "I hurt you and the others so many times and the way I treated you..." She shook her head and laughed darkly.

"You didn't have many restraining orders." Robin said gently, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It was 'do whatever it takes.'"

The younger girl exhaled painfully.
"I know, but I shouldn't have taken it too far and-"

Robin's grip tightened around her limb and she looked at him in confusion.

"It. Wasn't. Your. Fault." He stated through grit teeth and turning her to face him. His face softened andhe held her close, wrapping his arms around her waist.

She breathed in content and wrapped her arms around his neck, closing her eyes and leaning into his touch.

"Alright." Amethyst said softly. "Let's get back on patrol."

Alina's POV

I smirked as Ari and Dick got back into position and turned to look at Conner, who looked a bit tense.

I caught AJ's glance and we shared knowing looks.

I give it two months.

I caught up with Steve, who was holding his shield up infront of him, and walked backwards behind him, watching for any suspicious activity.

It was kinda obvious Dick and Arielle had a thing for eachother. The quiet flirting, the concern for eachother, the small side arguements, the cute coupley way they interact... Couldn't be more clear as that.

But hey, Arielle is the stubborn one out of all of us, so I didn't expect anything less.

"Alina." Steve's voice called, making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Sorry, sorry." I mumbled sheepishly.

"What's up with you?" He asked curiously, pausing in his spot a couple meters away from me. I jogged to catch up to him and we continued walking side by side.

I hesitated.
Knowing Steve, he'd probably know something's up, so there's honestly no trying to hide it.

"Just missing the team." I admitted, pressing my lips together.

He raised an eyebrow behind his helmet and I sighed. I knew he'd want to question it.

"Arielle, AJ, and I are on the same team." I began slowly, watching his reaction, which seemed unaffected at the moment. "We're all from different dimensions."

His face turned a bit shocked, but he remained quiet.

"Who's on this team?" He asked, grabbing my wrist and keeping me with him. I'm guessing he knows I'd probably run away.

Smart.

"The three of us, Adelaide, she's a genuis celebrity." I smiled softly. "Abi, she's a fairy princess and Mia, she trains... Creatures."

I let out a breath and glanced up at him to meet his softened face.

"Why didn't you tell us?" He asked.

I shrugged and ran a hand through my hair. I honestly don't know why I kept it from the Avengers. I could have told them a long time ago, or something, right?

"I don't know." I mumbled as he released my wrist from his iron grip.

I hate having the weaker version of the serum.

"We've got company." Clint's voice ran in my ear.

Steve and I simultaneously whipped around to see what seemed to look like thousands of HYDRA agents and demons marching towards us from the woods.

And leading them all was Janine.
