Damon's P.O.V

I watched in horror as my angel thrashed and kicked on the table. She's been at it for two hours. Nothing but loud groans and heartbreaking whimpers have been heard. A thin sheet of sweat covered her body. Seeing my mate in so much pain makes me glad I killed that bastard today. He knows what he did was illegal- especially since she's my mate. He deserved everything I gave to him.

"How much longer, Doc?" I ask, tearing my eyes from Blair to look at the comoletely calm doctor.

"She should change anytime now." He reassures. I obviously look worried because he continues and says: "Don't worry. This is completely normal. Specially since she will only be partial so the process is longer and more confusing." I nod to his explanation and look back at my mate.

"Damon." She cries. I frown because her pain hurts me just as much as her. I can't stand this. When she cries out for for me it breaks my heart. I wish I could help her, comfort her and tell her everything will be okay. I jusy sit there in the cold, metal chair and watch. Wait.

"Please! Hel-HELP!" If only I could. This almost makes me wish I made that moron suffer before I ripped out his voice box and broke every bone in his body. Her yelps and screams made me flinch. She was definitely going to hate me after this. I needed her to trust me and this was not going to help get that trust when she has tiny fangs, pointy ears and a tail. Although, I couldn't help but wonder what her wolf would look like. Most likely gorgeous. I couldn't wait to show her off to the pack. But we needed to find her sister that she won't stop talking about. It was another thing blocking me from a happy life with my new mate.

The sound of chains brought me from my deep thought. The doctor was fastening a collar around her next. It was attached to a chain that hooked into the wall. I guess the cuffs on her wrist weren't going to hold a wolf.

"Is that necassary?" I asked as he loosened the collar so It wouldn't choke her neck when it grew. He shakes his head. "No, but it's better safe than sorry." I agreed with him.

Just as he stepped away, Blair let out an ear shattering shriek. Her teeth flashed under the light, showing two tiny K9 fangs. It was happening. The doctor backed up to the farthest wall with the door, prepared for the unexpected.

"Daaamo- Raaaa!" Her fingers suddenly had claws that were scraping into the metal table beneath her.

Th doctor pushed a button to release the cuffs. If she turned and wasnt strong enough to break them she could dislocated her arms or legs since dog limbs don't bend the same.

A low howl came from Blair as she fell off the table. Before she belly flopped onto the floor she landed on all four paws. She was a wolf.

I shot up from my seat and was about to rush to her side when the doctor grabbed my wrist and held me back."She's not thinking clearly and she's probably hungry. She could attack, Alpha." He warns but I yank free from his grasp and stride over to my mate.

"Angel?" She faces the wall with the chain so that her tail is to me. I walk around the table so I'm standing directly infront of her but her eyes stare at where the chain is attactched to the wall. The top of her head reaches to my hip bone. She was extremely tiny for a wolf. But besides that she was completely beautiful. Her fur was a really light brown color, muck like her real hair with a mixture of cream coloring. Her eyes didn't change to yellow like most werewolves but they remained the beautiful green that I could stare into all day. It mus have been because she was now only half werewolf.

One can not be turned into a complete werewolf but they have to be born that way. However, one can be turned into a half werewolve by being scratched, like how Mike scratched her stomach. The differences change depending on the person. A half werewolf could keep features from there human form, much like Blair has, they can simply just have K9 teeth and claws but never the ability to comoletely change, wich obviously wasn't the case for my beloved mate, or they could just lack the strength and other abilities of a complete werewolf, I still have yet to discover that with Blair.
