Gianna's pov

I woke up next to...an empty bed. Nice.
I check my phone and see a tweet from Jack.

I'm going to kill him.

He posted a picture of me sleeping, drool coming out of my mouth and my hair crazy. My mouth was open and I was sprawled out on the bed. The caption was "my beautiful girlfriend. Got no sleep because of her, but it's worth it for her❤️" trying to make up for it with a cute comment.
Smh.

"Jack!" I called out as I left my bedroom. The house was empty.
I pulled out my phone and texted him.

"I just woke up. Where are you? Let me know. Love you."

I walked next door to see if Jack was there.

I didn't have a good feeling.
Ang answered. "What's up." She asked. I had clearly woken her up.
"Is Jack here?" You could hear the uneasiness in my voice.

"Haven't seen him since I left yesterday. Don't worry though. He probably just went to the store or something. Wanna come in? I'll make us breakfast."

I was in no mood to eat. "I-I'm good."

And with that I went home. A good 2 hours had past and it was almost 1:30 pm. He still wasn't back. I began to cry.

He left me. He left me. He left me.

I knew it would happen. Everyone in my life walks in, makes me care, and then checks out.  That's not okay. Everything hurt.

Then Jack walked through the door. He slid on his knees across the living room so we were eye level because I was sitting on the couch.

"Baby what's wrong?" He cupped my cheek lightly cleaning my tears.

"I-I-I" was all I could say.

He carried me up to our room and snuggled close to me. I clung to him as if he would disappear if I didn't. He stroked my hair while whispering in my ear.
"I'm here baby girl. It's ok. I love you so much."

"I thought you left m-me. Most people in my life just leave. I th-thought you would do the same a-and I panicked. Because..."

"Because what babe?"

"Because I'm so scared of losing you."

"What can I do to make that go away?"

"Tell me something I can hold onto and never let go of." I whispered.

"I'll never leave your side."

And with that I snuggled close to him again and fell asleep on the only place I felt safe.

His arms.
