Gianna's pov

The eerie silence of the streets made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. My headphones were plugged into my phone as I tried to calm myself.

As I walked down the ally way a petite figure walked down the ally, approaching me. The moon soon illuminated the petite frame to be none other than my best friend. Well she was my best friend. Before my parents died. Before all of this happened. And that's when it hit me. She was the one that Jack cheated on me with.

"Madison."

The name passed through my lips before I could stop them. My headphones still playing low in my ears as we conversed.

"I have been trying to get rid of you since the beginning. The car accident. Everything. It was all me."

With that a sharp pain went through my rib cage. And with that, my old best friend was gone.

Because it's the end, and I'm not afraid to die.

I fell to the ground as I looked down to the small knife sticking out right below my heart. This was it. I was actually going to die. I had prayed for this for years. I always wanted to die. It had always been a dream. I had asked for this so many times, but now that it was happening I was scared. I couldn't die. I needed to stay alive for Jack.

I remembered my phone that was playing in the end softly in my pocket. I reached down and grabbed it. I called Jack. He answered. "Hey baby. Where are you? It's midnight is everything ok?"

I strained to speak as my vision became clouded. "J-Jack. Baby I love you." I chocked out. I was sobbing at this point.

"Gianna where are you? Baby?"

"J-Jack just c-call 911. I-I'm In an ally. I love you Jack."

"Gianna? Gianna baby what's happening!? Gianna?!"
His desperate cries became faint as I faded into an abyss of darkness. But I was contempt with what was about to happen. People say when you die your whole life flashes before your eyes or you see a blinding light. But that's false. All I saw was the darkness that had blinded my vision. But that's when I heard faint sirens, pulling me out of my peaceful abyss of darkness. And that's when I realized something.

It wasn't the end.
