Please don't hate me y'all because Will surprised me just as much as you will be!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, I laughed with Joey because he's fun and hilarious, but that didn't get the pain out of my heart. I like laughing but it's not the same with Will. Will's the person who makes me happy happy, not Joey. There's a difference between laughing and being happy while laughing. But, hanging out with Joey helped me distract myself from Will.

He hates me.

Right now, I'm sitting on my infirmary bed while Joey is sitting at the bottom. We're playing our third round of Uno and he's getting impatient with ten cards and I only have two. Joey looks up from his cards, frowns, and places a draw four wild card. I sigh and roll my eyes, picking my cards.

They weren't good and useless to what my original plan was, but that didn't mean that I couldn't mess with his head a little. I smirk and look from him to my cards. "You shouldn't have done that."

Joey's triumphant smile dropped from his face. "Really?" He whines. I only shrug my shoulders and place a yellow four down. "I wanna take your bluff..."

I shrug again, "Then take it. Your choice."

"Dammit di Angelo!" Joey says, throwing his cards down, "I. Quit! I forfeit. I don't wanna lose to you anymore. You're hurting my Uno rep." I laugh and place my cards down, facing up. Joey's jaw went slack and his face went red.

"Should've called my bluff." I shrugged and leaned back, stretching my legs out.

"You little..." He hissed and jumped on me. I groaned and tried to push him off me. "Face the consequences of lying!" He bellowed and started tickling me. I hate being tickled. My face gets all blotchy and red and I sound like a mix between a squealing pig and rooster. Joey leans over my body, his hands worked furiously at my sides, not showing any mercy.

"Okay! Sto-stop! Please!" I begged, trying to cover my ribs up.

"I dunno. Should I?" He contemplates, tapping his chin with one hand.

"Y-yes, you should."

"Okay." Joey sat up, cracking his fingers and neck. I cringe and wipe the tears from my face and try to get my breath back.

Joey lets out a chuckle. I give him my hardest glare, "Ever do that again and you'll be the one on this bed." I mutter.

Joey opens his mouth to reply but was cut off by the curtain getting ripped open. My breath gets hitched in my throat when I see who it is: Will. He has this wild look in his eyes that I've never seen before. The once brilliant blue eyes now resemble the sky right before a thunderstorm. His golden hair is disheveled as if he ran right up to a tornado.

"Will?"

His eyes shoot toward mine. He starts to say something but stops himself, taking in the scene. I take the time to do, also. That's when I see how intimate Joey and I look. Joey is straddling my knees with his shirt halfway up his body. I didn't have a shirt on from earlier when Joey checked me after he fell on me.

Joey's blue eyes widen and he quickly jumps off me, almost hitting his face off the floor if he didn't get his hand out in time. He stands up, pulling down his shirt. "It's not what it looks like, Will." I didn't take Joey like that and it didn't occur to me to question if he was or not. Even if he was, I wouldn't; I like Will too much.

I look from Joey to Will, who had his arms crossed and head down. I slid down off the bed and quietly walk over to him. "Will? You okay?" I ducked my head down and tugged on his elbow. I was shocked to see tears rolling down his face. My arms instinctively went around his waist. Almost immediately, his arms were flung around my neck and his breath fanned across my neck.
