Hi guys! This is how I originally planned to end this but I changed my mind at the last minute. However, I'm gonna post it because it's been nagging me in my head for a while. I guess you could call this an epilogue or whatever. I hope you all had happy holidays! I celebrate Christmas and I got a lot of books, which I'm happy about. Hope you enjoy!

Nico's POV

I slept with Will last night. Not as in we did it, because Marie was literally in the bed next to us, but we just fell asleep cuddling each other. So technically, Will and we I slept together. That's why when I wake up, I'm confused because Will isn't anywhere in the bed. On the bedside table is his watch saying it's only eight in the morning.

I stretch and sit up, looking around. Marie is still in her bed, sleeping heavily. I sigh and get out of bed, slipping on my coat and shoes. Last night was Christmas Eve, making today Christmas. I guess that I just thought Will would wait for me to wake before leaving. Guess not.

Opening the door, I'm blinded by the glare from the sun and snow. Cold whips around me and swiftly rushes into my open cost. I shiver and zip I up, pulling the scuff of my coat over my neck. There's no sound around camp; everybody still asleep. Not even Chiron is at the empty pavilion. However, there are footprints leading from here to there.

I huddle further down in my coat, which doesn't help from the harsh winds, and trudge over to the pavilion. It doesn't look like eight. The sun is high in the sky and the sky is blue, no snow clouds at all. Strange.

Over at the pavilion I see nothing. But Will's footprints are coming in this direction. I look around all the tables and when I get to mine, there's a plate of pecan pancakes, apple juice, and a folded note. A smile splits my face and I sit down and bring the breakfast and note towards me.

First, I open the note:

Dear Death Boy,

First of all, you may have noticed that you didn't wake up with me next to you. Yeah, sorry about that, babe, I had to do something. Second, hopefully and probably if you're reading this, then you noticed my obvious footprints that I left for you. That was on purpose so you would come here. Third, you probably noticed that it doesn't actually look like its eight...because it's not. It's twelve. Gods, you're so observant. Anyway, for the next note, go to the place where we had our first kiss–

Where we had our first kiss? That's all the way in the city! Will doesn't really expect me to go there just to get a note, does he? Besides, he nearly died there. There must be more to the note so I flip it over to the back.

—that wasn't in the public's eye.

Love Will.

Oh. I finish eating breakfast, or should it be lunch? Brunch, maybe? Once done, I scrape some into the brazier for Hades and head off to the infirmary. It's quiet, like suffocatingly quiet. He must not be here then. I walk down to where I used to be when I was here. Pushing back the curtain, I'm met with a neatly folded, pristine bed. Everything reminds me of Westover Hall and that reminds me of Bianca.

Nico, no. I'm surprised by how much my conscience sounds like Will. But it just wasn't his voice, it was Bianca's, too, mixed together; the two people I love the most.
