4. The Rebound
"You are just going on rebound! It's been two weeks for Christ's Sake!"
"He is not rebound."
"Allison, you usually last about a month before picking another guy. What's different this time?"
"Well, this one is the one."
I groaned. "Fine! Be delusional. I don't care. Just keep me out of it." I said as I picked up my backpack and started heading out of the school.
"No!" she called after me, running to catch up. "You have to help me! I can't do this alone!"
"You're going after Charlie Chbosky! He's Liam's best friend. Granted, he seems okay, but I still want no part in this."
"Please, Rach! Come on! You're friends with Seth, who's friends with Charlie. Can't you ask them if we could all hang out together or something?"
I sighed. It was true. Seth had asked me to come and hang out with them this Saturday. And he had been pretty adamant about it. Pleading even. But I had said no (to all seven please's) just because of the fact that Liam Lion was going to be there. But I didn't have anything better to do on Saturday and Allison really wanted this. And we were hanging out at Seth's house. He had a pool. I could always push Liam into it if he got too much on my nerves.
"Fine! Seth's house on Saturday at 7. He already asked me and I said no. He'll be pleased to know we're coming once I call him and tell him I've changed my mind."
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Allison said, jumping around like an excited puppy and hugging me tight.
So, logical conclusion. This brings us to number five, because I can only count up to four in Spanish. The Hang Out.
