                                         Part 2

Luke's arm was wrapped around me tight.
"Get OFF!" I yelled back at him. "Percy!" I screamed when no answer came from him.
"He's not here anymore, Ella. Just me and you.. okay?" Luke said too calmly.
I slowly opened my eyes as my feet hit the ground.

There were people everywhere, large pools, bright colored drinks with fruit, people laughing and music playing that my mom would listen to in the car when we were going to the beach. The songs that had ukuleles and songs that were folky and talked about stick seasons..
But something felt off.
People didn't notice we came out a portal.
No one looked surprised.
Not even Luke cared.
I started walking fast into the crowd. Then running.
My yellow converse was slipping around the shiny floor.
"Percy? ....Percy!... Where are you??" I yelled into the crowd.
Then I saw the water. Lots and lots of water.
In front of me was a deck that overlooked more water than I can ever remember seeing.
"Percy is back at Camp Half Blood, Ella." Luke said as I whipped around to face him.
He looked sad. His dark hair was shining in the sun and his scar on his face looked like it was glowing. His mouth almost looked like it was quivering.
"Why am I here?" I said quietly because I was scared my voice would show I was more scared than I thought.
"Because I needed Percy to see I was serious. That I would do whatever it took to bring Kronos back. And I knew he would come faster if I had you."
He was silent and looked away from me.
Then two huge people came up from behind Luke. But they weren't people. They were giants. Actual huge, furry giants. Almost like weird bears.
"Take her to a room and have her stay there." Luke said to one of them.
I looked to what was around me. I was NOT going to let some bear giants take me somewhere.
I picked up a glass cup from a table by me and  gripped the bottom of the glass with orange and yellow slushie inside.
"Get back!" I yelled at them as they came closer with big thumps that shook the shiny floor.
Why did no one see them coming at me?
One of the bear giants was really close to me now.
"I said get back!" I shouted at them and threw the rest of the orange and yellow slushie at them.
The one yelled and started jumping around saying "cold" a lot.
It was funny but the other one was coming towards me too.
I hit the glass on the side of the deck. It broke fast and now I had a weapon with me.

It reminded me of the time Gabe did that to me a Percy.
Percy was mad at Gabe and Gabe was mad at Percy, so he threw his old, empty beer bottle at Percy. Percy didn't get hurt but he got cut on his arm from some of the glass.
Even though I was scared, I helped Percy clean his arm because he was bleeding. I got him a blue and pink bandaid to help him after too. Mom was mad at Gabe after she got home and they got in a fight again. But nothing changed, because Gabe still got mad at us again and scared us.

I hung onto the broken bottle and yelled at the bear giant. Before I could run toward him and hurt him, Luke yelled to us to stop.
The bear giant stopped walking towards me and looked at Luke.
"Ella, put it down." Luke said as he raised up his sword in my direction.
"No." I said back still hanging onto the glass.
Luke looked annoyed and waved his sword around instead of pointing at me. "Ugh, just grab the kid, you idiots!"
Then the bear giant who I threw the drink on, came closer with his huge hand. And I stabbed the broken glass in his arm.
He yelled, but swung at me with his other arm and his huge hand grabbed my shirt collar.
I got so scared I dropped the glass and started hitting his hand instead.
"Got her." The one said to Luke.
"Good. Now bring her to a room and don't let her out."
"No!" I yelled as the bear giant lifted me up by my shirt until my legs were off the ground.
"Let me go, you ugly bear giants!!" I kicked and screamed until he threw me up over his shoulder.

"You a bad girl." Was all he said as his brother opened a door behind him and then threw me inside the room.
The door shut quickly and loudly. Then I heard a loud click at the door.
I ran fast to the door and started banging on it yelling for Luke.
After a while and Luke never came, I sat on the white bed in the room and cried.
Why was I on a ship?
Why did Luke take me, just to get back at Percy?
I couldn't help him.. what could I do?

I must've fallen asleep because I jumped up when I heard a loud noise coming from outside. I quickly went to the door of the room and put my ear to the door. I heard Luke and other people talking close by. I couldn't hear much but I did hear something about Kronos being in pieces and needed faster help. Then I heard about something gold. I couldn't fully understand what they were saying.
Something gold?
Kronos?
Whatever the gold thing was, it was important to Luke because he raised his voice when someone said something different from him.
Then someone said something about Percy helping instead, and that made Luke mad too. He said Percy will come for me but he wouldn't just help them. Especially because of Kronos. Then I heard them talking about the sea. And Camp.
A sea?
What sea? And why gold?
What would he do to Camp?
Luke got mad again and something broke. Then it was quiet again and I heard their footsteps walking away.
And I was alone again. And scared, and confused.

I knocked on the door again and yelled "hey" a lot. But nothing worked. After a while I laid on the big white bed and looked at the ceiling with all the white dots. I felt like Rapunzel in the tower. Stuck in a room with nothing to do and very bored.
I thought of Percy being annoyed that I wanted to watch Rapunzel again and not a Star Wars movie.
I liked Star Wars, but not like that. The movies were just kinda long, but I liked Padme. She was pretty.
So, I stated singing Rapunzel's song when she was in her tower.
It made me a little happier so I stood on the bed and jumped up and down while singing.
That was something me and Percy did until we got in trouble because it was fun.
After I finished the song and jumping, I looked at the window of the ship.
I was bored again and there was so much water.
It made me hungry not thirsty.
I really wanted jelly beans right now.

When I sat on the bed again, I thought about Luke and Hermes. Hermes seemed to really love Luke, so I didn't know why Luke hated him so much. I thought Hermes was really nice and funny. Vegas was fun too.
So, I pretended to talk to Hermes like I would pretend to talk to Apollo.
"Hey Mr Hermes, your son is really annoying. But he seems sad, and mad. I want to help him...I think he would like a hug, but I don't really want to hug him since he locked me in this room and is trying to hurt Percy...I really miss Percy, Mr Hermes. Can you tell him I'm okay?"
I waited a while to see if he would answer.

I waited a long time.
Then a loud wind started in the corner of my room. It became so fast that it turned into a circle like a tornado top. It was blowing papers and making things fall all around the room. Even the pillows started flying.
Then the middle of the tornado opened.
And the god who was nice to me came out in running clothes.
"Mr Hermes!! You're here!" I said happily and hugged the messenger god.
He laughed and patted my head. He looked at me with his big brown eyes and came down to meet my level more.
"Let's get you out of here, yeah?"
"Yes please!" I said while smiling.
He said we would have to go fast. We jumped into the tornado circle and like it never happened, we were outside of the apartment building back in New York.
My home.
"Thank you, Mr Hermes! ... But did you talk to Luke too?"
"Not yet, little one. But I will send him a message. Now, go find your brother." He said as he smiled and took my hand. His smile seemed sad too like Luke's.
He let go of my hand and when I turned around to say goodbye before leaving, he was gone.

I went up to our apartment super fast.
I flew open the door.
"PERCY!" I yelled loudly as the door hit the wall.
"Ella? ... ELLA!!" Percy yelled back as I heard things fall over while he was running to the door.
"Percy! I'm back! Mr Hermes helped me!" I said quickly as Percy rushed and hugged me tight.
"I missed you so much. I was so worried, Ella.. are you okay? Are you hurt?" He said and it sounded like he was almost crying.
"I'm okay. Luke didn't hurt me. But I have to tell you something that he said. About Camp!" I said fast so I wouldn't forget to tell him.
He looked at me and hugged me tight again. He said we would talk later because he had to tell me something too. About a boy he met at school, named Tyson. And how him and mom are helping him too. And now that I was back, it wouldn't be long until we went to Camp again and could ask Annabeth what she thought about something gold, the sea and Camp Half Blood.
