Antonio ran back down to tell the others what he saw the gene mold do. Matthew said, "What's the point of sending in the SWAT team if all they could do is shoot me with a bullet that failed to kill me?!"
Antonio responded, "If you were alone, they probably would've taken you. They didn't plan on three of us being in one place. No one who encountered us ever made it back to their precinct. When the 12 cop cars came after us, the cameras in their cars only saw me because both of you chickened out. They thought we were separated the whole time."
Ethan asked, "What would happen if we get hit with one of those bullets directly instead of getting grazed."
Antonio answered, "I wouldn't be able to cut off a chunk of skin. I would probably have to amputate the entire limb. If it doesn't hit you in a limb, you die. We can't know for sure how fast we would heal or how long we would last after getting hit. Luckily, we know that there's a cure."
"That SWAT guy said there was no cure."
"He was either lying or didn't know. Why would they shoot us, capture us, and let us die? That defeats the purpose."
"So what happens if we decide to keep resisting arrest? We can just do this forever."
"That depends on what happens when the seventh trumpet sounds."
