Chapter 5 ~ Dinner Tonight

I watched Vincent and Mike color pictures together as I filled out the adoption papers

"Okay so sign here and here this states that you will be responsible for Mike and will cover insurance" the man said as I put my signature in both spots

"What's next" I asked

"You need to show me your ID" He said, I pulled out my ID and handed it to the man. He took the card and looked at it for a while. "A social services worker will come in a few days to make sure your home is suitable for children"
"Okay" I said
"He's all yours" the man said
"Thank you" I replied and I started to walk towards mikes room
"Mike Schmidt's signs are showing he is ready to go home" the doctor told me
"That's great" I said "thank you" I said
"Well Mike there will be glad to have a new home" the man said
"I'm sure he will" I replied and I walked into mike's room. I smiled seeing Vincent and mike whispering to each other
Vincent P.O.V

"Mr. Vincent can you push me really fast in my wheel chair" Mike asked

"I can't do that here I will get in trouble" I replied and Mike looked down at the floor disappointed "But I can push you around really fast when you get out of here" I said

"Yay" Mike said a little too loudly and a few nurses looked our way.

"Shhh" I said chuckling

"Hey Mike it looks like your healthy enough to go home" A doctor said walking into the hospital room.

"Really" Mike and I said in unison

"Yes we grab Mike's wheelchair and you guys are outta here" the doctor said Mike squealed and (y/n) walked in

"Hey Mikey" (y/n)said kneeling down to his height

"Yeah" He said giggling

"Do you want to go out to dinner tonight" she asked

"yes" Mike said and the doctor walked back in the hospital room.

"Here is your wheelchair you may keep the clothes we have given you too" The doctor said and he picked up Mike putting him into the wheelchair causing him to squeal. I laughed and pushed Mike to the elevator.

"Can I push the button" Mike asked looking at (y/n)

(y/n) P.O.V

"Of course you can push the button" I said Mike clapped

"Wait which one do I push" Mike said hovering his tiny hand over the buttons

"Push the one with the star on it" I said and Mike pushed the one button and we started to go down. Mike squealed

"BUTTERFLIES" He said and Vincent chuckled. The elevator doors opened and Vincent began to push Mike again. He pushed Mike through the revolving doors and into the parking lot. I got out and Vincent bolted pushing Mike really fast making race care noises

"WEEEEE" Mike yelled as they reached the car. I ran to their side unlocking the doors and making sure Vincent put Mike in his car seat correctly. I hopped into the drivers seat and started the car.

"Do we all have our seat belts buckled" I asked and Vincent buckled his seat belt

"He made it click" Mike said

"Yes he did" I replied looking in the secound mirror at Mike "Okay we are going to go to Fuji for dinner have you been their before Mike" I asked pulling out of the parking lot

"No I've never been to a restaurant besides Fredbear and Friends" Mike replied and I nodded

"Well you're going to like Fuji" I said and I got onto Ca-tron Blvd. We drove for a few minuets before I turned ion my music. I changed my playlist to the only child friendly songs I had. Grandfathers clock, House of Gold, Tear in My Heart, and a few other songs. I played my playlist and Mike leaned side to side with the music. I smiled looking into the mirror at Mike and looked at Vincent who was sitting back in his seat smirking a little. I pulled into the parking lot of Fuji and got out walking over to Mike's side of the car and opening the door.
