LANEY'S POV

It's been a week since I've arrived at Alia's kingdom. And she's taught me so many things already. Now I know how to hunt, sneak around, and be extremely silent.

Aside from that, we've become great friends, practically sisters. And I've gained a little bit of her attitude, which I wish I had before. I've never felt so alive in my life before.

She's taken me to every place in her kingdom, and her people have grown used to me. And by judging their enjoyment, no one knew who I was. It was the perfect life.

Right now, I'm sitting on Alia's bed reading a book. She's been doing her princess duties, but I don't really mind. Even if she does rebel here and there, hehe.

Then I hear a knock on the door. I put the book down and open it. I see it's a maid.

"Miss Diana, you are wanted downstairs in the throne room. The princess told me to call for you."

"Ok. Thank you ma'am." She bows and leaves.

I head out the door and close it. I make my way to the throne room. I find it weird since she's never needed me while she's on duty. Occasionally at lunch, but nothing besides that.

I arrive and see Alia and her parents straight away. I make my way to them and bow.

"Diana, there's someone I would like you to meet. Just turn around. He's here for something, but he won't talk. So I was hoping you could." She tells me.

I turn and look. A small gasp escaped my lips as I see who it is. The blue hair is all too familiar. Prince Corey came here. I'm just hoping he doesn't remember me.

"Hello there. You must be Diana." He says.

"Yes I am. Princess, would you like for us to talk somewhere else?" I ask her without turning.

"Yes, just go to the dining room. Hopefully you can convince him to tell you what he needs since he doesn't want to tell us."

"Of course. Come on sir." I motion for him to follow me as I go to the dining room. Pretty much mesmerized the entire castle.

We enter the room, and both of us take a seat. He looks at me weirdly as if to say he's seen me before. Uh oh.

"So what is it that you couldn't tell the king and queen why you are here."

"Quit the act princess Laney. The whole reason I'm here is because I'm looking for you." For me? But why?
