SPENCER'S P.O.V
Admittedly I was drunk, but after almost having sex with my boss, somehow it had seemed to sober me up a bit. I lied when I told him I was going to find someone else, I was just taking advice from Lana, and proving that it didn't matter to me if he would mess about. Because I can too.
I waited outside the room Jack and I had been in wondering if he'd come out, which he did almost straight away.
"Spencer what are you doing?", Jack raised his eyebrows at me inquisitively.
"I don't know, having fun?", I said sarcastically.
Jack sighed and just followed me to the entrance.
"I'm going for a pee, and I'm pretty sure your a male, so you can't come in our toilets", It bothered me a little that he was following me since I wanted to have fun, but if I even spoke to someone else he'd tell me to be careful and steady myself.
I walked into the toilets thinking through all my options. I could just tell him I wanted to go home, although I may end up with a big lecture on the way. I glanced around the bathroom and spotted a window. Bullseye.
I grabbed a stool, which I guessed was for smaller kids to be able to reach the sinks during family hours, and aligned it vertically to the window. I stepped up and opened the window which was a bit stiff.
"And your escaping your party because...?", Grace laughed as she entered the toilets.
"Long story, I shall tell you some other time but as of right now I need to get out quickly before Jack realises I've been gone for too long", My hands grabbed the window ledge and I pushed myself up managing to sit on the ledge, swinging both my legs to the other side I slowly went down. I could hear Graces small laugh from the inside.
"Good luck", she shouted.
I looked around noticing I was in the car park, thank god, I ran to my car and pulled at the car door handle. Shit. I had left my keys with Jack. I turned around and walked carefully to the corner looking round to see if Jack was on his way out, which he wasn't. I didn't know how I was going to get the keys without hinting that I was leaving. I did the first thing I could, taking of my heels I started to hobble down the street. I walked to work everyday so surely I'd be fine.
I turned the corner and walked down the street, I looked over my shoulder to see a car slowly running behind me. Panic arose through me, my breathing rate quickened as I tried to move quicker, run Spencer, my mind told me. I didn't want to run incase they locked on to the fact I was scared. I walked at a progressive pace trying to get back to my apartment. There were two more sharp turns and then I'd be in my apartments car parking area.
When I wasn't in view of the car I took that time to run, I looked over the back of my shoulder and saw the car entering the area. My feet ached and I was sure I had cut one of them on a shard of glass. I started breathing uneasily, I wasn't very athletic, running was something I despised since my first sports day.
"Oi!", the voice from inside the vehicle called out to me, and I heard the winding of a window.
I looked back at the car to see Jack sat at the drivers seat, showing a smug smile.
"Think you forgot something at the party, besides me", he drove closer before turning off the ignition and getting out the car.
