We stopped outside the front door, I looked in the drive way, my mom wasn't home, but he was, Fuck. I took my keys out of my bag and opened the door, time to show him my hell.

I walked in first, he was passed out on the couch. I hurried Eddie in, pointing to the back room. 'Go, there' I mouth.

He nods, running here as quietly as he could while I tip toed past the sleeping beast and grabbed some stationary from the desk behind him. I was going to write my mom a note of where I'll be.

Once I grab the stuff I walk to my room, casually, just in case he wakes up. I got to my room, closed the door, and locked it.

"You have a nice room." Eddie says, looking at my stuff.

"Yea I try, anyways, Seamus wants me packed and out front in like, an hour." I say.

"Piece of cake." Eddie says giggling.

I grabbed a suitcase and started packing clothes into it. Eddie found my computer box and started packing my pc up for me. Just as we get done, I get a text.

'Outside, 5 minutes.' Wow when Seamus says an hour, he not kidding.

"Well that's everything, we better head out." Eddie says opening my door. Right when he does the monster that I've lived with for 10 years was standing there, in anger. "Oh, H-hi." Eddie stammered., he’s obviously scared of him already.

"Who the fuck are you?" He asked, yep, he's been drinking again.

"I'm Eddie, I'm a friend of your step son. Nice to meet you Mr. Vitaly." Eddie replied holding his hand out.

My step dad just glared at him. "My last name is Mitchells. His last name isn’t even Vitaly, that’s his middle name so we’re not associated, which I'm happy about. I don't want that little fuck up to ruining my last name." He said sternly.

I just glare at him. "Aleks isn't a fuck up. He's amazing! He has so many great talents." Eddie says, smiling.

One thing I forgot to mention, my step dad hates happiness. He hits anyone that's even remotely happy. "Like what? Playing that garbage he calls music? More like noise." He says, glaring at the guitar.

"Don't you even think about it you overweight, drunken bastard." I say holding the guitar. "It's the schools, you can't break this one."

He just laughs. "I can and I will if I hear you playing that again." He threatens.

My phone went off again. 'We're out here, why aren't you out here?' Damn it Seamus, now is not the time.

I quickly text back. 'Eddie and I woke the best, he's starring Eddie down, things might go sour.' I send.

"Now, mind telling me why your bubbly, friend as he calls himself, is in my house." He turns his attention to me.

"He's helping me with stuff." I say, I wasn't lying.

"Like what? The same shit that your other, little friend, was helping you with?" He asked.

He was referring to Mike. "No, he's not doing that." I say looking back at Eddie. My step dad knew I liked guys. He didn't tell my mom, instead he uses it to cause me emotional pain.

"Son you should know something." He says, looking at Eddie.

"Ok... what?' Eddie asks, he doesn’t even sound like he wants to know.

"Your little friend here." He points at me." Is a faggot."

The minute the F word slipped from his words, Eddie smacked him across the face. “Don't you EVER use that word in front of me!" He yelled crying.
