Chapter 29

Mike is only going to be here for two more nights and he still hasn't made a move on Nick! Eddie and I have done everything we could think of. We've taken them out on double dates that we didn't tell them were double dates, we've done movie nights and put them next to each other, game nights, we're running out of options!

"I'm about to give up Eddie." I say laying back on out bed. "He's so fucking shy still, just like back home."

Eddie sits next to me, letting out a frustrating sigh. "Why don't we just, tell Nick how Mike feels for him?" He suggests.

"I guess if that's our only option." I say sitting up and pecking his cheek. He smiles and takes my hand, standing up. I stand up with him and we walk to Nicks room. We knock and wait and soon enough, Nick answers, Mike's not in there. "Where's Mike?" 

"Oh Seamus and James took him to the store with them, showing him some scenery." He says.

"Oh cool, can we talk to you a minute?" Eddie asks.

"Sure, what about?" Nick asks.

"What do you think of Mike?" I ask.

He shrugs. "He's pretty chill, like someone I'd hang with as an every day thing. Why?" He asks.

Eddie and I let out a sigh. "Mike likes you." I say.

"Oh I know." Nick says.

"Then why don't you do anything about it?" Eddie asks.

"Because I, like someone else and I don't want to hurt him." Nick says, oh fuck I forget, he likes Steven!

"Who?' Eddie asks.

Nick blushes a bit. "St-Steven." He says, smiling a bit at his name.

Eddies jaw drops. I mentally slap myself, Aleks you idiot, you're the one that told Nick to ask Steven to hang out and now you're pushing him and Mike together, god you're a fuck up.

"Well fuck." I mutter.

"I really don't want to hurt your friend, Aleks. I'm kinda glad he's so shy." Nick says.

"Yea he's always been shy around people he likes. He was like that with me when he was crushing on me." I say.

"You and Mike were a thing?" Eddie asks.

I nod. "Not really a thing thing we, experimented together a lot. He was the one I was kissing when that, monster found out." I say.

Eddie hugs me. "Let's not talk about him. He's where he belongs." He says softly, kissing my head.

I nod and turn back to Nick, "So what are we going to do?" Nick ask.

"Just, hope he stays shy until he leaves." I say, "It's all we can do really."

Nick and Eddie nod, then I hear running upstairs. "Seamus get back here!" Mike yells.

"Catch me." Seamus yells running past us and into his room.

Mike runs upstairs, seeming out fo breath, "Where, did he, go?" He asks, panting like a dog.

We point to his room, he nods his thanks and runs in there. We hear yelling, then something getting hit. "EAT PILLOW!" Mike yells.

Eddie giggles. "I think we'll be fine." He says.

~Later that day~

Today was fun, after Mike beat Seamus with a pillow we all hung out by the pool for once. Cracking jokes, telling stories, and just, dicking around for the most part. We even invited Steven over for the pool party.

Nick was looking at Steven a lot, and I do mean a lot. He really does like him, and when Mike goes home, he will be able to fully make his move. "Steven, you should really move in with us, I mean its our last year of school, you're over almost every day. You should live here." Jordan says.

"I don't know, sure it would be fun but, I don't know how my mom would take me living with like 7 other guys that she doesn't know." He says.

"Come on Steven, you're 18 right?" I ask.

"19 next week." He says.

"Exactly, you should be able to make your own decision." I say.

"I'll think about it." Steven says.

"So, I had a thought, we should do YouTube stuff, like little shorts or something." Dan suggests.

"That would be awesome." Eddie says.

"Yea we should actually start on our channels, we made then so long ago and never really, did anything." I say.

"Uh, actually I did.' Seamus said.

"What did you post?" I ask.

"Some Mario things." He says.

"How many Mario things?' Eddie asks.

"About...40." He says.

"Seamus what the fuck!? 40 videos in 3 weeks?" Eddie yells,

Seamus shrugs. "That's like, 13, almost 14 videos a week. That's two a day Seamus." James says,

"Look who got better at Math all of the sudden." Jordan says, James punches his arm.

"Not funny." James mutters.

"Oh let him do what he wants, lot more he's done than what we've done." I say.

They all agree and we go back to hanging out until it starts getting late.  We say goodnight to Steven, who we're now calling Ze because of the YouTube name he picked, and we all went inside. Tomorrow, Mike has his last night here, then he heads home in the morning. I just hope he stays shy for just one more night.
