I stared awake at the ceiling, I couldn't sleep. I lay there silently for what felt like minutes but was only mere seconds. I decided to get up and make tea it was early in the morning and the sun hadn't risen yet. I sat down taking small sips of the drink it was still hot. I was startled at the sound of loud banging at my door, who could possibly be up at this hour other than me. I spilled some tea on my chest as I was getting up to answer the door causing me to crash into the door in pain "Oww" I squealed as I was opening the door. On the other side was a fairly familiar face, "Gandalf" I said in a rather surprised tone "Isabelle hello I um certainly hope you haven't hurt yourself" he commented looking at me strangely " Yeah I'm fine " I muttered under my breath. He walked in quietly sitting down in the same chair I was in before, "Ummm are you hungry?" I asked "I don't have much but I can quickly throw something together for you" I continued on. " No need darling come and sit down I have something to ask you."
I came and sat down beside him " Yes?" I asked him " Now Isabelle how would you like to go on an adventure?" I looked at him unsure of what he was talking about " Wh..what do you mean?"I questioned "I know of some people who are going on an adventure and I thought it would be great for you" " Why for me" I asked him curiously, "Well for one it would be great for you to start learning how to use you powers on this trip and secondly how long has it been since you have gone on an adventure" I thought about it and I was still learning how to keep how to keep control of my powers but I was still unsure about the whole thing. I guess that Gandalf did have a point " Will you be joining?"He asked "Fine" I sighed "Very good we will all be meeting in Bag End this afternoon look for the hobbit hole with the markings on the door " I slowly nodded my head he stood up and began walking towards the door "Goodbye Isabelle" He smiled "Bye" I gently whispered before he turned and exited my home. I was so confused about what had happened I turned around to go back to the kitchen and ran into the wall ow!. I spent the rest of that day packing trying to prepare myself for the long journey ahead.
