We had just gotten out of The Shire when we heard a distant but familiar voice calling "Wait Gandalf, Isabelle Wait" We all stopped to see who the voice belonged to, Bilbo slowly caught up to us and held up the contract that he was given last night while he caught his breath "I signed it!" he cried clearly very puffed out Balin took the contract out of his hand and examined it very closely "Well everything seems to be in order" He looked up at Thorin who then nodded "Welcome Bilbo Baggins to the company of Thorin Oakenshield" Balin ended "Get him a pony" Thorin shouted "Oh that won't be necessary" Bilbo declined but Fili and Kili picked him up by the shoulders and put him on top of one anyway once again I left Gandalf to talk with Bilbo and I went on ahead. I soon started to experience pony issues, he kept walking off in the opposite direction that I needed him to go, "Come on" I urged when the pony came to an eventual halt "You okay there?" Asked Bilbo as he approached me, I looked up and his pony was fine and he was having no problems whatsoever "Why is he not listening?" I whined and threw my head backwards "Here we'll swap then" He sighed and dismounted his pony. I did the same and got onto his and he got onto mine, I noticed that as soon as he rode off the pony did exactly as we wanted without a fuss "What?" I moaned Bilbo chuckled and rode off to the others "Now Isabelle you realize that there is no turning back now?" Gandalf began as he strode past on his horse "Yep but don't worry I'll be fine " I replied "Yes I know because that's exactly how I raised you" He smiled "Stop! Stop!" Bilbo's voiced echoed through the trees "We need to turn around, I can't find my handkerchief" He complained "Here" Bofur ripped of a rather piece of material off of his coat "Use this" He threw it to Bilbo, Bilbo caught it and looked very disgusted "Before we carry on are you missing anything Isabelle?" Thorin asked sarcastically, I shook my head " Not that I know of" I replied "Good"
We journeyed on and on until night finally fell across Middle Earth, we set up camp and built a fire on a rocky ledge. From where we were we had a beautiful view of the landscape below us the way that the pale rays of moonlight lit up the night sky and how the burning embers flew up then disappeared into the darkness above whenever the wood shifted. After a while most of the dwarves fell asleep but Fili, Kili, Gandalf, Balin and I remained awake. Fili, Kili and I all huddled around the fire, It was so much colder than I had thought it would've been but I didn't want to say anything, I wanted to prove to them that anything that they could do I could too. Eventually it got cold enough where I had to let it out, my entire was shivering and my teeth were chattering I had to move as close to the fire as possible, the brothers soon noticed my strange behavior "You 'right there Isabelle, you get any closer to that fire you'll be sitting on top of it." Fili chuckled "I... have...n-no..idea what yo-you are ta...talking about" I replied, "Isabelle we're not stupid you know that right?" Kili assumed I pretended to think about this for a second "Seriously guys I'm fine don't worry about me" I assured them "Isabelle" Kili said firmly "What" I whined and looked over to him, he patted the spot next to him. I huffed and stood up to go sit next to him, "Happy?" I asked him sarcastically "I just want you to be warm" He reasoned and pulled me closer to him which made me blush again. Not long after Bilbo awoke then went and secretly fed his pony an apple, I began to drift off to sleep until loud screeching noises echoed startling both Bilbo and I "Uh what was that?" Bilbo asked shakily. "Orcs" Kili mumbled before another screech was heard woke Thorin "Orcs?" I repeated "Throat-cutters" Fili added
