We continued with our journey until the late afternoon. Thorin had just decided to set up camp but Gandalf didn't entirely approve of the area. There was what used to be a house but was now a bunch of wood planks held together by a few rusty nails, and what looks like some aged concrete that was once used as a fireplace. Gandalf walked up to the old building and I followed, he stood before the house and observed it "Hmm a farmer and his family once lived here" It caught me off guard at first "So something's been here and.." I stopped "I think it's best that we keep moving" Gandalf suggested "No we will stay here" Thorin declined and walked to Gandalf. I let them discuss the matter and joined Bilbo. He much like me was very tired and exhausted and were starting to miss home a little bit. Not long after Gandalf walked away from Thorin and past the two of us "Uh Gandalf where are you going" Bilbo asked "To go seek help from the only person that will listen around here" Gandalf replied angrily "And who would that be?" Bilbo shouted " Myself! Mr. Baggins" He exclaimed. Gandalf was gone for most of the afternoon and I was starting to get worried so did Bilbo. Bombur made stew and we ate " Do you think he's coming back?" Bilbo asked Bofur as he handed him two bowls "Who?" Bofur questioned "Gandalf" Bilbo clarified "Oh he's a wizard he can do as he pleases" Bofur assured "Here take these to the lads" Bofur added and Bilbo took the bowls and walked off to give Fili and Kili their stew. "What are they doing over there anyway?" I wondered "They're watching the ponies" Dwalin said with a mouth full of food, I hadn't tried my food yet so I picked up the spoon which had some meat on it and held it before my mouth "Hey! we need to help Bilbo" Fili shouted as he and Kili were bolting for us "Why what's the problem?" Thorin sighed "Trolls" Kili huffed and motioned for us all to come and see. Immediately they all put their food down and gathered their weapons. I too stood up and prepared myself for whatever was coming but Kili had other ideas "What are you doing?" Kili asked in a hurry "I'm coming to help you" I smiled "No you're not, you have to stay here" He instructed "Uh no I'm coming" I understood that they were worried and didn't want me to be hurt etc. but this was a perfect opportunity to show them my abilities and what I'm capable of. "Seriously Isabelle" Kili sighed and lifted me by the waist and carried me to a tree not far from where everyone was. He finally put me down when we had gotten behind the tree, "What are you doing!" I cried "Stay here" He said and tied me to the tree with a rope. "Oh my god Kili undo this right now I'm serious, you say you don't want me to get hurt but seriously you've tied me to a tree for goodness sake!" I shouted loud enough to make my face red. For a moment Kili stood there trying t decide whether tying me to a tree was a good idea or not, "Kili lets go!" Thorin shouted from a distance. Kili ran off to catch up to the others leaving me all alone. In the dark. Tied to a tree. Unarmed. I tried everything until finally I remembered that I had always kept a small knife in my boot just in case of emergency, the only problem was I had no way of getting it, or was there?. I focused really hard to try and move it with my mind, I closed my eyes and pictured the knife floating up and chopping off some of the rope. I opened my eyes and the knife was floating in mid-air right in front of my face, I brought it a bit closer and then spent a few minutes sawing at the thick rope. Eventually the rope broke and I unloosened myself, I slid the knife back into my boot then ran off into the direction that they all did. Instead of going out there and trying to save them while also risking my life I ran up the side and sat down where I had a clear view of the whole scene trolls and all. When I had gotten there half of the dwarves were inside big brown sack and had been tossed into a pile on the side. While the other half were being held above a fire by three big ugly trolls. I didn't know much about trolls except the fact that they will always turn to stone when exposed to sunlight, so all I had to do was make sure that no one was eaten until the sun had risen which couldn't have been too much longer. "Wait not that one!" Bilbo shouted grabbing my attention, I looked over and one of the trolls were holding Bombur upside down and had almost eaten him if it wasn't for Bilbo. "And why not?" one of the troll asked rudely "He's... infected...yep in his... tubes" Bilbo warned the troll threw Bombur down onto the ground in disgust "Yes that's it they've all got parasites I wouldn't risk it personally" Bilbo frowned. "What? I don't have parasites. You have parasites" Kili shouted angrily. The others joined in yelling a Bilbo who was clearly trying to help but they were just too stupid to notice it, except for Thorin who as soon as he realized what he was doing kicked Kili in the back of the head making them have to play along. "I've got parasites the size of my arm" Oin said "Yeah mine are the biggest parasites, I've got large parasites" Kili added making me chuckle. I decided that it was time for me to help out now, with a snap of my fingers the fire had turned into a heap of black coal. "Hey what was that?" a troll asked investigating the area, I then picked up a rock and threw it at one of them "Was that you Bert?" He asked angrily "Nope wasn't me" he answered. I searched around for anything else to use my eye was caught on the pile of steaming coal I picked them up with my mind then threw it at one of the trolls making them very mad. They soon got into an argument and all that was left to do now was freeze them into solid statues of rock but there was a giant rock in the way, I just had to find a way to move it. After playing with them for a bit longer I saw a figure run through the trees towards the rocks I soon realized that it was Gandalf and I hoped that he had a plan because I sure didn't. Surely enough he did, he ran out onto the top of the giant rock and shouted "Be gone with you!" then banged his stick onto the rock. The rock broke in half and sunlight shone through and onto the trolls, they immediately froze in place. I jumped down from where I was and walked over to the dwarves and started helping them out of the sacks, I let out Thorin out first "Was that you?" He asked sternly, I nodded cautiously "Thank you" He said then walked off to see Gandalf, I smiled then loosened the others from the bag that they were intentionally saving Kili for last. I stood there above him unsure of what to do, Fili then joined me "Uh can you help me out now?" Kili smirked playfully " Hmm I don't know I was thinking of either tying you to a tree or just leaving you there" I replied "Why?" He smiled " Oh well I don't know about Fili but I don't want parasites" I gestured to Fili "Come on" Kili whined "Okay I'm sorry" He apologized. I pulled the knife out of my boot then held it out to Fili "Here you do it, it's probably too late for you" I said seriously then walked off to find Gandalf. " You created a distraction long enough for me to save them" Gandalf looked impressed and I nodded "I have taught you well." He said "I know" I replied.
