The elves took me into a room and asked me a series of questions "Hair up or down?" muttered one "Uh down" I answered "Blue or green?" asked another "Blue" I said quickly. "Can we cut your hair?" one said as she observed my face and hair, "Uh yeah but not-" before I could finish she chopped off like half of my hair "too much" I growled "sorry" she apologized. She spent a fair bit after that trying to style my hair "So, anyone you want to impress in general?" she smiled and I rolled my eyes "I don't know, I guess sort of" I mumbled and looked down avoiding eye contact with her. "Is it.. that one with the black hair, no beard, brown eyes" I nodded slowly "Yeah" I admitted "Well by the time I'm finished with you'll look absolutely amazing, and the craziest part was that I sort of did want to impress Kili but without making it look like I tried to. A short amount of time she had finished with my hair and face "Okay, finished do you like it?" I looked in the mirror "Wow thank you" I loved it and I truly did look absolutely amazing. I turned around and gave her a big hug "Oh okay" she choked, I let go of her noticing that she couldn't really breathe "You still need to put this on" she held out a blue dress "Um do you have anything that I could wear that isn't a dress, it's just that I'm not really a dress person" I apologized "I'll see what I can do" I sighed and left me alone in the room. I thought about whether I had any feelings for Kili or not, it had been bothering me ever since I met him but I wasn't sure if he liked me in that way anyway, so I was just wait to see if he did anything to prove that he did. The elf-maid entered holding something. She held the clothing in front of me, I smiled, nodded and she handed them to me then exited the room for me to change. I walked out of the room wearing long black, tight pants, my black boots that I wore before, a white long sleeved shirt with a black sleeveless coat. My hair at its new length was left out before it had been almost down to my waist but it now was at shoulder length. I must admit that I was still upset with my hair but there wasn't much I could've done at that point. I thanked the elf-maid for everything then went to go join everyone else for dinner. I finally met up with everyone after getting lost twice, at first I went and spoke with Gandalf "See Isabelle? You're beautiful" Gandalf said warmly and then directed me to my seat. Next to Kili. I sat down and dished myself some food, Kili took a big gulp of wine and then turned around and both choked and spat it all out once he looked at me, "Isabelle you look um yo- you look uh beautiful" He smirked, "Thanks" I giggled but stopped when I looked over at Dwalin who had wine all over his face. "Oh sorry" Kili apologized. The dwarves had proven not to be a fan of many of the elves customs especially their music. There was a few elves that were playing instruments, I looked up at Kili who was staring as something else, I followed his gaze of awe towards the elf maid who was playing a harp. I looked back to him and watched him wink and smile at her then look at Dwalin and I once he noticed that we were looking at him. "Can't say I fancy elf-maids myself, too thin and their creamy skin" I rolled my eyes "Your an idiot" I sighed and left the table and walked over to the balcony away from everyone. I stood there looking out into the sunset thinking about how much of a mistake this had been, "Of course he doesn't like me" I mumbled, "Isabelle" I did my best to mask the anger that I was feeling. "Yes?" I answered and approached Gandalf "Oh my goodness, I've just realized your hair" he frowned as he looked at my hair, "Anyway seeing that we will staying here tonight you get your own room" The biggest smile crept upon my face "Really?" I asked in happiness "Yes" He answered and directed me to my room. After Gandalf showed me to my room and explained to me what was to happen for the rest of the night he wanted to make sure that I was okay with everything that had happened in the journey so far, I assured him that I was fine but didn't tell him anything about Kili. He left me alone and went to discuss the map with Elrond. I had finally gotten Kili off my mind and decided to go for a walk. The light was low but bright enough to see my surroundings, it was eerily quiet, so I had made an assumption that the dwarves were not around. I found a quiet spot hidden behind the bushes away from where everyone and everything was going on almost as if it was hiding place. I sat on the bench for a while and soon enough I started singing a song that I wrote over the past few days unaware of the pair of eyes that had been watching and listening.
