After we had that meeting I had no idea what to do, it was all very overwhelming. When Bilbo had finally regained consciousness Gandalf went off to talk to him leaving me alone in the living room to think "Are you okay?" Balin asked as he sat down next to me "So you can't even guarantee that I will come back safely?" I asked him he shook his head "It's a crazy world out there, you can never be sure what you'll run into once you've left home" He replied "Well" I considered the negatives but also the positives Kili and the fact that if I make it back then everyone will see that if they can do it than a woman can do it, two positive was all I was looking for at this point so I signed the contract then handed it to Balin "You are very brave to do this" Balin declared and stood and left. After a while I began to grow very tired I had permission for Bilbo to sleep in one of the spare rooms after I said goodnight to everyone. I got into the bed and fell fast asleep to the sound of the dwarves singing:
"Far over the misty mountains cold,
from dungeons deep and caverns old.
We must await, ere break of day
to find our old forgotten gold."
" The pines were roaring, on the height
the winds were moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it's flaming spread
the trees like torches blazed with light."
I awoke the next morning but it was still dark they must be up by now they're warriors I thought. I hopped out of bed, fixed my hair and changed into warm clothing. I exit my room expecting to see the dwarves up and ready to leave but instead the hobbit-hole was dead silent and everyone was still asleep, I suppose they would have been tired from travelling here from wherever they're from. I decided to make myself some tea and wait until someone woke up. I tip toed into the kitchen avoiding the sleeping bodies lying all over the ground "Good morning Isabelle" Kili whispered making me jump I looked up to see him standing in the kitchen smiling "Hi" I replied and hurdled over the last sleeping body. "Shouldn't everyone be up by now?" I asked while looking to salvage any food but finding nothing due to the feast from the night before "Eh let 'em rest for a bit longer they're tired" he responded, I gave up on food and poured myself a glass of water and sat down at the table, "So you're coming with us?" he assumed "I guess so" I couldn't actually believe that I agreed to this he came and sat down next to me "You are going to have so much fun" I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not "I just... I don't know it's stupid" I trailed off, "Do you think that Bilbo will end up coming?" I wondered, he shrugged his shoulders "I hope so" he sighed "But I feel bad for crashing his home like this, the poor guy" I could tell that he actually felt bad for Bilbo. "So Thorin is your uncle?" I began "Wow he must have pretty big expectations of you and Fili" I continued "Yeah it's a lot to live up to but we're fine with it" Kili said in a whisper as the guys tossed and turned "Speak for yourself, I'm sick of sleeping on the ground" Fili rubbed the back of his neck and grimaced as he walked into the kitchen "Morning Isabelle" Fili added "Morning" I called, Kili rolled his eyes "It's nice talking to you, maybe we could do this again sometime" Kili commented "Yeah of cour-" Thorin marched into the room interrupting the conversation "Wake the others up and get ready to leave" he demanded and marched back out of the room "I have this weird feeling that he doesn't like me" I said to the two of them "It's not you he just doesn't like anyone don't take it personally Isabelle" Fili chuckled. I left the kitchen to go see where Gandalf was, I found him eventually he was talking to Thorin about something I walked in and Thorin was just exiting the room "Is Bilbo coming?" I asked Gandalf "He will come in his own time dear, trust me" He replied and walked off leaving me standing alone in the hallway again!. After getting 10 "Good Mornings" from the others, A cheeky wink from Kili and the last slice of bread kindly given up by Dwalin we finally left the hobbit hole after returning it to its rightful state we got outside and everyone started mounting their ponies "M'lady your chariot awaits" Bofur said and guided me to my pony. In no time at but several attempts I had finally mounted my pony and was ready and waiting for the others "Alright we have a long journey ahead of us let's go" Thorin commanded, everyone slowly moved off all except me I looked back at the hobbit hole just in case Bilbo were to have woken up and changed his mind. "Isabelle let's go" Gandalf called I turned my head and rode off to catch up to them.
