Louis
For the remainder of the night, I remain in a daze from meeting that man. Harry, what a lovely name, I think as I drive to the store. I wonder what his last name is. Does his middle name make him sound royal? Is Harry short for something? WAIT! Is his name Harrison? Or better yet, Harold? I chase my thoughts on Harry out of my head as I enter the store, searching for the electronics isle. I pick out the cheapest alarm clock they have and check out. "Hello there." The clerk says, eyeing me. Sure, she's pretty, if you like obviously dyed blonde hair and pancake makeup. But she's not my type. For obvious reasons. "Hello." I reply, giving her my clock to scan. "How are you today, cutie?" She asks, batting her eyes flirtatiously. I sigh, taking the plastic shopping bag from her and handing her the money. "I'm not interested." I tell her and leave, and she's speechless. I feel sort of bad, I mean, how could she of known? I grip my bag harder as I walk to my car, feeling guilty.
It's late when I reach my flat, and I immediately get in the shower to rinse of the work's dirt off of me. The bottom of the tub turns brown from the dirt running down my legs, and I feel all of the day's troubles wash away with the soap suds. And for a moment, I forget everything, except for Harry. Harry and his flower thing. I chuckle and turn the shower off, pulling a warm fluffy towel around myself. I dry off and put my pajamas on. My dinner consists of microwaved bacon and frozen pizza. Well, the pizza's not frozen when I eat it, I got it out of the freezer and put it in the oven, and yeah, you probably get the picture. It's an okay meal. It's not filet mignon, but it's sustainable. And tasty.
I know autumn is approaching when I open my bedroom window and chilly air blows through and gives me goosebumps. I quickly shut it and wrap my duvet around myself, hoping to warm up. I've always loved the way wind is drawn. Who came up with those swirls to represent wind? Wind is invisible except for when it hits something. I like that person a lot.
Soon, we'll have to grow the flowers indoor at the shop. And trust me, they're isn't much space for that. The winter, however, is a really good time of year for sales, since no one can grow their own flowers very well. But high demand and low amount of products don't mix, so last year we had to close up shop for the entire month of January. We opened up for February, because of Valentines Day. That's a really popular time for Gale's roses. Roses... Harry bought roses... I wonder who they're for. He probably has a boyfriend. What if he has a girlfriend and my assumption on his sexuality was completely incorrect? This is bad. Everyone knows that roses are the love flower. I got my hopes up way too high. I should've asks who they're for before I started daydreaming about him. Ugh. I think I'm panicking over this way too much. I need to calm down. I go into the kitchen and put the kettle on for some tea. I wonder what types of tea Harry likes. What if he's a coffee drinker? There's a relationship that won't work out. Maybe that would be a star-crossed love story: the tea fanatic and the coffee king. A love story. Oh God, I think I'm in love.(A/N just a short filler chapter. Vote for Chapter 4!
