Zay was still waiting for Derek to handle the situation.  She was eager to see her  Ahmad free then possibly come up with strategies on how to help him after that.  Ahmad was her main focus after her business or was it the other way but zay knew she had to stand up for Ahmad.

Derek called after an hour and told her things were going as per the plan. The goon accepted the deal and also accepted to  testify in the court proceedings.  Zay was a little bit anxious things might go wrong but she calmed herself down because probably the hype was too much.

The following week went very fast and Ahmad walked out a free man but not so free too because if the president pardoned the goon from his 30years in jail, he would have  to pay him back but Ahmad knew his of his plans, he did not want to drag zay into his shit but now that she was in, she would bail herself out because Ahmad was leaving but zay did not see all that coming! It would twist her life completely.

"Ahmad, am really happy to see you!
Ahmad was dull and his psyche was too low, maybe the months in jail affected him.

"Zay, I need a passport! "

"For what?

"I just feel I need one you know, maybe I might decide to further my studies"

"Alright then, how soon?"zay asked abit more curious

"Like as soon as possible, I have decided to go to Sudan, I think it is convenient" Ahmad added  maliciously.

Zay winced, the topic was the least she expected after his release. She expected Ahmad to be stranded so she could step in for him, help him finalise his schooling then get him a job too. ..then maybe he could save his ass from poverty and pay his sisters school fees but Ahmad was on a different page.

Ahmad needed quick money, he hated his mother yesmeen, especially after he discovered the ugly truth about what she did to
munira. Ahmad had to leave country and get justice for munira. His fear was that probably sushi  would end up like munira. He had to do something to save her.  He least needed a family because his mother's marriage life corrupted his view on marriage.

"Hello, are you alone there" Ahmad asked.

"Yes buddy, wassup now?"

"Where have you planned for me?"

"Relax dude, relax!" The voice from the other end boomed and filled the earpiece.

"Alright mister, I let you do your thing, alert me when anything urgent comes up alright"

The voice on the other end was cut short.  Ahmad heaved a sigh of relief and put the piece down.
He was being too discreet because he was afraid of using a cell phone.  He knew Zay was too smart and incase she got  wind of what he was cooking, then he would loose his main financer-even though she was his emotional holder and consoler.

Zay was not aware of his plans but somehow deep down, she knew something was not adding up.

Ahmad knew the game he was playing was tough and it would jeopardise the upcoming business of Zay incase he was caught. But it was in his favour anyway.  He hated women alot and he least cared about anything Zay did for him. If anything he was working to get his goal. Zay gave him the money and the enough connections he needed.

Yesmeem looked everywhere for the documents she needed but in vain. She was worried sick. Whoever who took the documents was setting her up.

She regretted every ounce of what she did in the past. She wanted to turn back time and fix her mistakes but it was too late. It was either she rot in jail or she exiled herself from her country.  The options were only two. Not a third one.

What would be left of the Saif's family when the mother exiled herself and Ahmad left? What of sushi? Munira being dead too. The dad was never a part of the family.

Situations were getting out of hand. Zay was too happy about Ahmad's positivity but what was it she was feeling?

   .........

............
Zay was toping the business. She was doing quiet well, able enough to foot her own bills. Her mother did nothing but floss to anyone who gave her attention. This was another rise of the Bin Bakar's after their downfall during their hay days. Zay did anything to ignite the family name again, her mom though frowned at the mention of Ahmad knowing he was a Saif! But at least the situation was better with the business doing well. She could not complain at the moment.

    ***************
For the love he had for me
For the feelings that were washed away
By the greed of society and  material stuff.
My love walked away.
I pained, I ached,
The cold bit.
My teeth grit.
I was a loner.
I was left.

The pain had no gain...will I ever see my offspring?
No man could sire a bastard out of me!
Come back my darling.
