THE JET WAS CHILLY, AS USUAL.

Vienna hardly had any time to pack her things after returning to DC. Judd had informed her that the team was making a very quick turnaround after the holidays.

They were making the trip to Las Vegas for a case. Vienna was excited since they were actually allowed to work cases and were not relegated to the house; while Vienna loves the beautiful victorian house in which she resided, she has always dreamed of the day where they would be able to actually help on active cases.

And that day had finally arrived, after nearly three years in the program.

The private jet had twelve seats, though only five were occupied.

Sterling, in her typical crisp blazer, was gripping a case file in her long, well manicured fingers. Briggs was looking at his watch, clad in his best suit.

Neither agents batted an eye at the chatter on the other side of the plane, and that could only mean one thing–this case was serious business.

Behind them, the naturals sat sprawled across the chairs. Dean sat with his back facing the entrance to the plane. Lia sat in one chair, her legs resting in the other. Sloane was perched cross-legged on the edge of the table, her hair pulled into a lopsided ponytail in typical Sloane fashion.

Cassie sat next to Dean, and his arm was draped lazily around her.

A smile spread across Vienna's face as she looked at them. Though it had only been a couple of weeks, she had missed them all dearly.

"Vi!" Sloane jumped from the table, launching herself across the plane to pull Vienna into a bone-crushing hug.

"Sloane." Vienna squeaks, hugging the girl back, while simultaneously struggling to breath due to Sloane's grip.

"Oh, I missed you." She finally let go of her.

"Yes, she did." Lia chimes in. "She had nobody else to talk about her nerdy interests with."

"Sure I did. I had you. I talked to you about my "nerdy interests" 146 times while Vienna was away, and you only showed interest twice."

Lia smirks. "Sorry, Sloane. I still love you."

"I know. Vienna is more fun to talk to about that stuff though." Sloane smiles.

"Aw, Sloane." Vienna grins at her as she sits next to her on two spare seats next to Cassie.
