Mermaids

Chapter 5

When I woke up, I was sitting in a bath tub, that was full of water. Looking to the other side of the room, I saw the Human sitting on the floor. 

So then, I looked back at the water and cast a Convoca, to talk to my friend again. 

Hey Blair. I said. You know how I was with the Human. Yeah. she said. A group of Humans with guns kidnapped us and took us somewhere. OMG! she said. I know right. I said. I've actually been in the Human's pool for a week, too! How long have you and the Human been at the place where the kidnappers took you? she asked. I don't know. I told her. You should ask the Human. she said, laughing. I dare you. Okay, fine. I said. I'll talk to you later. Okay. she said. 

So then, I looked at the Human again.

"Hi." I said, shyly. He looked at me and smiled. "Hi." he said. "How long have we been here?" I asked him. "I don't know." he said. "Maybe a few hours." 

"Thanks for saving me from that Great White Shark." I told him. He smiled. "This is so weird seeing a Mermaid, in real life." he said. "I'm also a Princess." I told him. "Cool." he said.  

"What's your name?" he asked. "Bella." I told him. "Mine is Alex." he said. 

"They took everything that we had in our pockets." he said. Immediately, I checked the pocket on my dress and the necklace I had was gone. "I have to get that necklace back." I told him. "Why?" he asked. "Because I need to." I told him, unsure if I should tell him about the power the necklace had.

If a Mermaid or Merman were to put the necklace on, it would give them legs to walk on land. If a Human were to put on the necklace, it would would give them a tail and allow them to breathe underwater.

Suddenly, the door flew open and one of the Humans that had the guns walked in. Immediately, he grabbed Alex by his neck and dragged him out of the room.
