Ch. 8: Fittings & Finishing Touches

Niall and I went back to my apartment to start packing things into boxes for me. All the boys, Lou, & Lux  were staying at Claire's for a little because they were waiting on the rest of the rooms at the hotel to become available. They only had the bridesmaids, Little Mix, and our family's rooms ready for when they arrive. It's a good thing that they're at Claire's though. Otherwise we'd have no  time together.  

"I'm so glad to be back with you." I smiled. "Me too. Everything seems like it's finally start to fall into place. I feel so complete when I'm with you." he said. "I feel the same way. I can't wait to be married!" "Me too," he added "I can't wait to have you with me all the time. To live in the same house, to wake up beside you everyday." he smiled. "Same. Alright, let's get start some packing because we have to get you showered and ready for Vera's." I said. 

"Why can't I just wear this." he was referring to his white tank top and basketball shorts. "Niall, you can go a little nicer than that. I'm not saying put on a tux I'm just saying you could at least wear your nice jeans and a little bit of a nicer shirt." I said. "Aww c'mon-" he complained. "No! No complaining. She is doing us a big favor. She is dressing our whole wedding party." I said. "Yeah, but it's not like she's doing it for free. We are paying her ya know." he said. "But we have a big  party and she already has a lot to do. She's a busy woman. And a good friend. Besides, it's not like she's just doing the bridesmaid dresses. She's designing the bridesmaid dresses, the groomsmen's tuxes, your tux, and my dress. Have a little enthusiasm, this is our wedding we're talking about." I said. "You're right I'm sorry. And I am excited, just a little tired that's all." he said and then pecked me on the lips. "It's okay. Do you want some coffee? I can make you some for after your shower." "That would be perfect." he said.

Niall took a shower and so I sat on the couch with my laptop. I can't wait to have my dress fitting tonight. I haven't seen my dress in awhile. The day I picked out my dress we decided that we would purchase it from Kleinfeld, but since Vera is such a good friend of ours we sent the order straight over to Vera and she took my measurements and everything and made any alterations that I wanted. 

While I was on Pinterest deciding how I want Lou to do my hair on the big day Niall came out.  "Does this look ok?" he asked. He was wearing his jeans and his black and white stripped shirt. "Yeah it looks great." I said. "Ok good."

"So what time is this thing?" he asked. As I was straightening my hair. "5:00" I answered, "but we are meeting up with everyone for dinner afterwards. Eleanor, Marie, Perrie, and the rest of Little Mix are all here too. Little Mix  flew in with Perrie for the wedding. Only Perrie, Eleanor, and Marie are coming to the fittings though." I said. "Ok, but do I get to see your dress?" he smiled hopefully trying to seem all sweet and innocent. "Oh no. Stop right there, you won't be seeing my dress  until I'm walking down the aisle." I smirked. "What! But that's so unfair! You get to see me in my tux!" he whined. "Oh that's totally different and you know it!" I laughed.  "And you won't even see me on the wedding day before the ceremony. Claire's suggested it  and I like the idea." I stated. "Well I don't." Niall said. I laughed knowing that what I was about to do would help to definitely win this one. "Fine let's call Claire." I smirked. "Fine." he stated.

I picked up my phone and dialed Claire and put her on speaker:

"Hello?" 

"Hey Claire"

"Oh hey! I was just debriefing the guys on tonight's events and dinner an such! What's up?" 

"Oh nothing really. I was just talking with Niall and I was informing him on how tonight after he has his tux fitting that I was going to have a dress fitting."
