Ch.3: Family Affair

*Niall's point of view*

Everything is working out great. My family is all in town ( including the boys), the ring came in, and Emily doesn't suspect a thing. And Claire, Perrie, and Marie her three best friends have flown in too. Her entire family is all here and we are going for a HUGE family dinner at a Greek resturant that overlooks the ocean. She has always wanted to come to Greece. She told me that when we first started dating and I've always known she was the one, so I have always said that when I propose I'm doing it in Greece. Me and Emily's father are the only ones who know I am proposing. Everyone else just thought it was family meet family get together. Obviously we know each other's families. We've dated for two years (it will be three next month) and actually we both get along with each other's families really well. Our families just haven't met each other yet. I love how well she gets along with my mom and Denise, and Theo adores her. I get along with her dad really well which she loves, as do I of course. I remember when I asked his permission to marry her. I was extremely nervous even though we got along so well. He just stared at me and then said "No." I was so caught off guard and crushed. But then he smiled and said "I'm joking of course you can!" He hugged me and I told him how I planned to propose but I didn't show him the ring because I wanted her to be the first to see it. I told him just to tell the family it was because we felt it was time for everyone to meet everyone.
It is time for everyone to leave and go to the resturant and I couldn't be more nervous. I think I was more relaxed before playing at Madison Square Garden than I am right now.

*Emily's point of view*
Mine and Niall's families are all in Greece and they are staying with us for the last two weeks of our vacation. It's not like it's crowded either. It has eleven bedrooms (besides the rooms we are staying in)for crying out loud. And my three best friends are here.
The house was feeling a little empty anyway. So my family got here around 1:00 this afternoon and Niall's family had been here since yesterday. Right before I was about to get ready for our big family dinner Claire, Perrie, and Marie showed up and I couldn't have been more excited!
I get in the shower really quickly and wash my hair and shave my legs. Then when I get out of the shower I curled my hair. I laid out this really cute sundress I got when I went shopping with my eighteen year old sister Molly before I left for Greece. Then I laid out my cute new sandals that I got with Denise and Maura when we went shopping yesterday. When I went back into the bathroom to start on my makeup I realized that my hair might get frizzy if we are going on a rooftop resturaunt and the wind is blowing. So then I decide against it and straighten my hair and spray with frizz prevention hair stuff. Then I did my makeup and when I got done I put on my dress and sandals and realized that I had ten minutes before we had to leave so I went downstairs and almost everybody was down there so we waited for Maura and Denise and then we were ready to go!
