At the Chosen nexus, things weren't going so well. The boss was dealing with the 'misdemeanor' as he calls it, but the rest of the Chosen populace call it one thing. The tipping point for the crusade against the Fallen. Humans were getting confused messages from Fallen territory with the usual amount of threats, and a few questions sprinkled it, raising tensions between the two factions.
"What are we going to do about those Fallen spies posing as messengers that tried to discreetly steal our launch codes?" The Boss said to his personal assistant.
"Currently in custody as prisoners-of-war. Negotiations for their release in progress. Shouldn't we focus on the urgent matter of the..." His personal assistant said as he typed into his laptop.
"That'll just blow over. These cases always do."
"But it has a threat level..."
"I don't care about the stupid threat level! Now do what I say or I'll have you demoted to cleaning toilets in the time it takes you to say my name. Do I make myself clear?"
Boss's personal assistant nodded.

" Are you sure this is a good idea?" The old scientist said, looking gaunt.
"Don't worry, Trak will lead us into the Fallen Leader's tent, where we'll convince him to sign a truce with the Chosen. We will be fine. After all, if anything goes wrong, we have Trak." The young scientist replied.
"And my bow." Trak said, who proceeded to pick up a long bow, then a quiver which the imp slung onto his back.
"Ok, lead the way, Trak." The old scientist said with a cough.

"Is Project Holy Wrath ready?" The boss of the Chosen said to a lowly intern.
The intern nodded.
"Then prepare to launch. I want to launch this puppy before sundown."
"But Boss, we don't have the.."
Boss tossed the intern a keycard, and proceeded to walk away." You need anything to launch this project faster, just show this to my secretary. He'll know what to do." He said over his shoulders.
The intern starred in awe of what the Boss just gave him as the Boss walked away, a malevolent smile growing on his face realizing what he could now achieve, finally having exemption to do what he pleased.

"BRING THE CHOSEN FORTH." The Fallen Leader said to his soldiers, and Trak with his two humans were shoved into the tent.
"Nice place you got here, Fallen Leader." Said the young scientist.
"Quite lavish." The old scientist said.
"SILENCE." The Fallen Leader boomed. With that, the imp and his friends were forced to their knees.
"No need to be so pushy." The young scientist muttered under his breath.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE?" The Fallen Leader boomed.
"To propose an alliance between Chosen and Fallen, to better both of our civilizations. To bring an end to this horrible war." The old scientist said.
The Fallen Leader laughed at his offer. "That's a good one! NOW, WHY ARE YOU HERE, THE REAL REASON."
"I told you." The old scientist replied.
" YOU LIE!" The Fallen Leader stood up off his throne, angry at the humans for even suggesting such a logical idea.
" I detest intervening." Trak muttered to himself as he pulled out his bow, aiming for the Fallen Leader. "Now, now, no need to make a hasty decision. Since you clearly aren't in a mood to talk, we'll be leaving. You make any sudden movements, you and me have a little chat."
The trio ran away from the Fallen Leader's tent, toward Chosen land, with a sunset in the background.
"I told you this wasn't a good idea!" The old scientist said.
Suddenly, BOOM. An army of flying mechs infused with magic flew aloft, towards the Fallen land. Flying Fallen tried to stop them, but to no avail. There were just too many of them.
In the distance, the angry Fallen Leader yelled, "THAT IS WHY YOU NEVER LISTEN TO CHOSEN SCUM! THEY ALWAYS STAB YOU IN THE BACK!"

"Good game, Lucifer."
"Decent game, God." Lucifer shrugged. "Time to go back to our normal jobs. Same time, same place?"
"Yes, and yes. See you around."
As the two beings of power went back to Earth, they noticed something was wrong.
"Hey, what's with all the ruins and destroyed remnants of human civilization. Shouldn't humans be doing that later on?" Lucifer declared.
"I think you are right. I'm going to make an exception to our code of conduct and reverse time, ok?" God said as he looked at the destruction below.
"Go for it."
"Here goes nothing." And God did just that.
