Did I ever think I'd fall for him? No. But I did. Gosh Jack Johnson. Today we had agreed to go for a walk around Omaha for awhile and I was slipping on my Nikes.

I tied the laces and just as I finished I got a text from Jack saying he was outside. A smile crept into my face what this boy does to me. Even just with a simple text.

I walked outside and Jack was wearing joggers and a hoodie. He also had on running shoes, obviously.

"Hey Y/n." Jack gave me a quick hug.

My heart fluttered but I knew that the feeling wasn't mutual.

"So where exactly are we going?" I asked locking the front door.

"The park and just around town cmon before it gets too dark." We stared walking.

The whole time we talked I didn't even notice it had gotten dark. It had also began to get a little windy. I shivered a bit but Jack didn't notice. Good because I didn't want to make him hand over his hoodie.

"Are you cold." Guess he did notice.

"Just a little bit." I answered.

"Here." Jack started taking off his hoodie.

"No it's fine. Really." I didn't want to seem needy.

"Y/n you're a horrible liar. Here take it." He put his over adjusting it.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Y/n can I ask you something. You don't have to hear it if you don't want to. Or maybe you do. I don't know but can I ask you something." He rambled.

"Yes. Go ahead." I laughed lightly.

Jack started playing with his fingers which was something he did when he was nervous.

"Um okay. So um. Y/n would you possibly, hopefully, maybe, want to be my girlfriend." Jack took a deep breath.

"I'd love to." I pressed my lips onto his.

At first he didn't kiss back. But after a second or two he realized what was happening he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed back. The kiss lasted for quite some time and we parted.

"I was more nervous than I should've been." Jack mentioned.

"Really? I didn't notice." I smiled sarcastically.

He just laughed and hugged me. It was a secure hug and I loved the feeling. We continued our walk for about another hour or so. Then I saw we were I front of my house.

"You're home." My new boyfriend said.

"Oh yeah. Guess I am. Uh thank you for everything." I started taking off his hoodie.

"Keep it babe." Babe, I like that.

"Thank you." We kissed again and I started walking up to my front door.

I unlocked the door and went inside. I closed the door then leaned on it. I smiled, guess the feelings were mutual.
