Josh inhaled sharply and covered his mouth, standing up. Tyler just lay there, sobbing, shaking and bleeding. "Tyler tell me what happened." Josh said in a panicked voice.
Tyler looked up at Josh as his lip quivered. He lifted his arm up and winced, dropping it back down. Josh kneeled down and slowly put Tylers arm around his neck, lifting him up.
Tyler, with the help of Josh, limped back into his house. Josh put him on the couch and flicked the light on, running into the kitchen and getting a wet face cloth, bringing it back to Tyler and wiping the blood off of him the best he could.
Tyler swallowed and sat up, squinting his eyes. He winced as Josh took his arm and washed the blood off of it. "Tyler you need to tell me what happened. Who did this?" Tyler shook his head slowly and looked at Josh with teary eyes.
Josh felt his throat knot up. He hated when Tyler cried. The look of sadness was too contagious. Josh held his tears back as Tyler stared into Josh's eyes, the look on his face miserable. "T-the... he... h-he did it, Josh... he d-did it..." Tyler said faintly, shaking his head. Josh sat up, leaning forward.
"Who? Who did it? Tyler, tell me." Josh was getting impatient, his voice sounding harsh.

Tyler leaned back, his head drooping. "The message man, Josh. He did... he did it" Josh sighed as he placed his head in his hands, frusterated.
This is the nonsense Tyler was whispering all day. What did it mean? Josh didn't have one single clue. Josh perked his head up.
The man that shoved him. He squinted his eyes and shook his head. Was he really letting this get to him? He didn't beleive all this nonsense. Well...then again- No. He couldn't let Tyler get to him like this. He probably just fell or something...
Right? Josh looked over at Tyler who was laying on the couch, shaking and mumbling nonsense. Josh sighed and layed back, staring at the ceiling. Why was Tyler acting like this? Was he going crazy? Maybe it's just a full moon.
Josh stood up and began walking towards the door. He had to get home soon before it got too late. He felt something quickly latch onto his wrist. He looked down, seeing Tyler latching on to his wrist with his hand. "Josh. Don't go out there. He's out there." Josh turned slightly and raised his eyebrow. "who's he?" Tyler dug his fingernails into Josh's skin and looked deeply into his eyes. Josh didn't see anything wrong with them. They look honest. But... was he lying? Who is this person? Definitely not Tyler.

"The message man." Tyler said flatly, letting go of Josh.
Josh sighed. "Tyler, come on. Snap out of it." He placed his hand on the doorknob and paused, turning his head slightly and looking at Tyler from the corner of his eye.
"The only 'message man' is you, Tyler." He left Tylers house, making sure the door was locked before he hopped off of the steps and glanced at his watch that read 1:24 am.
Great, Josh thought as he sighed, I won't be getting any sleep tonight. He put his hood up and continued down the sidewalk, the street lights above him dimly lighting his way. He lifted his head up slightly as he heard faint footsteps.
Josh squinted his eyes as he tried to make out a strange figure up ahead, walking towards him with a strange limp. Josh clenched his fists in his pockets and moved over slightly, keeping his distance from the strange figure.
As he came closer, he smelled of alcohol and was wearing the same clothes as the man that had shoved him earlier that night. Josh stared at the man from the corner of his eye, his head remained facing the ground.
The man stumbled into the lamppost and knocked himself over, falling on his back. Josh stopped and turned around, studying the man's face. He had a mask on.
A black mask with two white eyes and a white smiley face with two small grey dots where his cheeks would be.
