'When it was dark now there's light
Where there was pain now's there's joy
Where there was weakness I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy'

Chapter 19:
Roxy-

With a peaceful warmth surrounding my sensations, I opened my eyes to a bright yellow sunshine entering the room from a vintage styled window. Heat emitted off a certain place on my body, triggering the memory Xavier had stayed.

I slowly shifted to feel a boy's arm touching my tummy. It felt like I was just at home again...

"No!" He yelled shuffling backwards into the wall!
Frightening me; I leapt backwards with shock (I almost fell off the bed).

"What?! Xavier? Are you okay!?" Xavier panted heavily & loudly. He sat up onto the bed frame; eye-brows raised, extensive eyes, his lips parted- as if he saw a ghost.

His breathing slowly decreased, as his gaze shifted between me and his thoughts.
Xavier threw his hands into his fine hair regaining his composure.
His head fell back onto the wall, relieved of something.

"Xavier?" I asked tiredly, unsure of what-the-hell just happened.
"Yeah?" He answered with closed-eyes. His hands rubbing his face...

"What the hell was that?" I asked, sassily.

This is what happens when you disturb my morning time.

"Urgh... nothing." He loosens his shoulders, as he looks down at me with mystery.

I shot him a blank death stare as he knew we were supposed to be honest with each other...

"Bad dream..." He shifts his seating, back into the now ruined sheets.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I ask unsurely.
Xavier returns a glance, worried written everywhere on his glowing morning face & tainted hair.

"Actually. I need to tell you something..." He glowered approaching closer.
My nerves started shaking and it was only morning.

Man, Xavier really tests my emotions...

"Yeah?" I ask hesitant...
"You know... My dad...? Barry?" He remained irresolute & hesitant.
"Yeahhh?" I was now starting to get worried, I had only saw this side of him when he was rambling on about Valknut.

Ahh, he is still so VERY cute when he is distressed.

"Barry... He isn't my real dad..." He announced,

WHAT?!
"What!?!" I blurted, desiring more information.

"Father left when I was 10... Two years after the lotto..." He paused, as I appreciate his handsome features & his manly emotions.

"Mum met Barry when we moved to Sydney.
He has been a complete idiot ever since."

I chuckled awkwardly "You don't say." I paused, recollecting the memories of Barry.
"But I mean, he is okay." I answered truthfully.

"I could say the same about your dad." Xavier leers, knowingly I had said the same thing in the past.
"Hay! That's what I said yesterday!" I hit his shoulder playfully.

"I know. That's why I said it." He replied laughing at my reaction. I smiled to lighten the mood.

"So... what happened...?" I asked with a hint of cheerfulness.
