Arriving at the front door of the "Nurses Office" , I opened up the door to have my eyes meet nurse Thomas, gnawing at her pencil, sitting nervously at her desk.

"Nurse Thomas, can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Call me Jennifer sweetie, are you feeling okay?" She questioned standing up from her desk.

"I'm fine really, I just wanted to talk to you about your sister, if you don't mind."

"I was guessing this time would come at some point." She let out a heavy sigh and sat back at her desk.

"Well.." I started confused. "It seems as if you know alot more than you should. I want to know everything." I blurted just cutting to the point.

She stared at me deeply. A tear escaped her eyes but she quickly slapped it away with the back of her hand.

"Well Kim, let me turn a long story short."

I nodded my head in understandment, and listened as hard as I could to her story.

"I am your Aunt, Courtney is my sister. I knew all about your past life, am I'm so sorry Kim..." Her voice started to break with her words.  "I-i wish I could have stopped them and fixed everything. They told me I couldn't adopt you." She cleared her throat.

I felt my body grow completely still, not even a blink. I couldn't believe she was my aunt! No wonder why she looked so familiar, she looks so much like my mother!

"Kimberly, I know you don't remember me. I loved your mother, I tried to convince her to leave everyday! She wouldn't listen to me. Its all my fault."

        "Nurse Thomas..." I trailed off.

She looked up at my face and put on a forced smile. "Yes, dear?"

"Its okay, its not your fault. I'm just happy to have part of my actual family here." I chirped.

I ran over to her and hugged her close to me. Something caused me to stop and flench away. I heard her crying get louder. It was kind of weird.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you." I claimed blamming myself for her tears.

My words seemed to make her cry harder. Staring at her I frowned deeply. Jennifer then wiped her tears away and smiled once again, though this time it wasn't forced.

"Your so innocent.. Its okay hun its not your fault."

I smiled back at her and hugged her again.

"Can I get an-" Blade walked in holding his head. "Was I interupting something?"

Me and Jennifer dropped the hug and stared at Blade.

Jennifer chuckled, "No your fine, got a pass?"

He dug in his pocked and pulled out a crumbled up piece of paper. She walked over to the freezer and started to make Blade an icepack.

"What were you doing in here Kim?"

"Me and Jennifer were just talking." I glanced at her for a split second and then put my gaze back onto Blade.

"Oh, Jennifer? Mom thats not fair can I call you Jennifer to?!" Blade whined.

"Sure, as long as no ones around." She laughed again.

I started laughing, a close relationship they must have.

"Mom?" I questioned amused.

"Yeah, shes my mom." Blade said all serious.

I have the sparing 10 seconds of silence for him to say "I'm just kidding." or something like that to dominatly knock down some of my stress. Jennifer walked over to Blade and handed him the icepack. He smashed it eagerly on his head and let out a sigh of relief. I still stood there shocked.

"I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. Blade is your cousin, in other words my son."

"Well its easy to leave out that part, eh?" I said surprised and at the same time excited.

The loud bell rang signalling it was time to go back to homeroom for the final minuets of the day.

"You two better hurry and get where your supposed to be going." Nurse Thomas said shooing us out of the room.

I secretly wondered why Nurse Thomas didn't mention her husband, or anything like that throughout our conversation. I knew better to just keep it at what its at. For now atleast. I can't believe I have a cousin. Hopefully I can use this to my advantage. Well its turns out all the lies that my dad told me about not having any other family were just lies. And hopefully I can make it through this day alive.
