The wind changed its pace from gentle to unkind. My heart hammered in my chest. I waited for him at the rooftop as he asked me to do. He wanted to surprise me.

I heard footsteps coming closer. Turning around I saw him, my love. I grinned and tried to throw myself in his arms but he grabbed my both hands taut, his face toughened. Ah! I felt a sudden push which threw me in the air. "Surprise!" was all I heard mingled with the outburst of his fiendish laughter.

I grabbed some edges of a balcony. Tranquility surrounded me as I saw a dear friend of mine took his direction towards me. But then he stopped in the middle, I froze. He kept watching me slipping and falling gradually. "Sorry!" and he was done.

Closing my eyes I waited for demise to embrace me, fat tears rolled down my cheeks. I landed on something softer, stronger and warmer. My eyes were still closed and wet. I felt a warm breath on my cold face. As I opened my eyes I found a beautiful face staring at me intensely with those shiny black eyes. He held me in his arms protectively. I buried my face in his chest and sobbed bitterly. I felt a kiss on my forehead with a whisper "My queen!" I wrapped my arms around him and he smiled.
