Shivering inside, one blanket is not enough to scare away the chilliness. Sleep has gone to vacation just now. As I opened my eyes "c-o-o-old" I mumbled. I got up.
I love taking walks in wintry mornings. Unlike western countries it doesn't snow here. I went outside and took a deep breath. Cigar like smoke eliminated from my mouth as I exhaled. Tilting my chin up to the sky I watched as the white mermaids floated away in the blue. A flock of birds greeted me sweet good morning as they crossed over my head. The tip of my nose is a piece of ice now. The golden sunshine adds a pleasant warming smile to the icy cold climate. Dewdrops in green grass are like diamonds in green silk. My shoes are covered with mud but I am carefree. My eyes are small cameras that capture every scene, every motion. I witness the morning like no other. Mother nature is never ashamed of showing her beauty to me.
Time for me to return where I belong. The frozen beauty never fails to thrill me. Spellbound I am. I am sad to leave but the nature keeps calling me.
Author's Note: I love winter. And I have witnessed winter's morning like no one else. So I penned the beauty.
