Chapter 1: The Mystery Girl.

Three years later:

Chapter 1:

God I’m so hungry! I finished work and dropped by the house and picked up my little brother, Isaac. Who is the second oldest out of the five brothers I have. Since my parents are away with the three younger brothers, it was just Isaac and I. I get to chose the place to eat this time and chose Henry’s Diner. I parked the car in the parking lot and got out.

“Dude, why do you always pick here? This place is so boring” Isaac said.

“I like it here and this time I get to choose so stop complaining.” He sighed. I opened the door and enter. I picked the booth in the back. We sat down and waited for our waiter or waitress.

“Hi, I um, my name is Georgia and I’ll be your uh waitress for tonight, would you uh like any drinks?” Awe cute. A shy and new girl, I could have fun with her.

“I’ll like a Coke please” I gave her my best charming smile. She started to shift uncomfortably and slowly back away. I kept my smile. I’m not bad looking, am I?

“I’ll have a Coke as well,” Isaac said.

She wrote it down and pretty much ran away.

“Do I have something on my face?” I asked him.

“No”

“She’s just probably nervous then”

She came back with our cokes, now that I look at her. I see a faint red scar going down her jaw line and have some odd coloring around her neck. She’s very pretty I tell you but something bad happened to her. You can tell.

“What would you uh like to eat tonight?” she shifted her eyes towards the ground.

“I’ll have a burger and fries.”

“Ditto” Isaac said. He doesn’t talk that much.

She wrote it down and ran away again. I looked over to my brother who looks exactly like me. People mistake us as twins but he’s a year younger then I. He has dark brown hair with our family trademark crystal blue eyes. I have all the same features. My three other brothers have the trademark blue eyes but they got blond hair from my mother while Isaac and I got our fathers brown shaggy hair. The girl came back and put the Isaac plate on the table. When she turn her eyes blanked for a second and she lost balance and my food went all over me and she fell onto the ground after a second of laying there she jumped up so fast she lost balance again but caught her self from falling again.

“Oh my god. I am so sorry. Let me help you with that.” She grabbed napkins and started to swipe off the burger off my work shirt. Great I’m going to need a new one. She put her hand to her month. I saw tears forming in her eyes.

“Oh no, no. Don’t cry. It’s fine. I’ll get a new shirt at home.” After I said don’t cry she straighten her back and blinked her tears away.

“I wasn’t going to cry, let me buy you a new shirt. It’s the least I can do for you.” As she was saying this like it was no big deal, her brown eyes showed that she was panicking and by the way she dressed and looked she doesn’t have that much money. Soon the manager came out.

“Oh Dean, I am sorry, I’ll make your meal free tonight.” Shawn said.

“Georgia is new and is a bit clumsy. This is her fourth time this month” Isaac was laughing away. Typical of him. The girl, Georgia looked to the floor, with shame and with something else I couldn’t point. Maybe regret or something. She is bracing herself for something that’s for sure. I got up and looked at Shawn and pointed outside.
