Chapter 11: Where's Georgia

It’s eight o’clock and I haven’t seen Georgia since this morning. Where is she? Isaac walked into the living room with a bowl of popcorn.

“Where’s Georgia?” I asked him.

“Didn’t she tell you? She’s on an overnight school trip. I thought she sent you a text? She sent me one” he took out his phone and handed to me.

On School trip, wont be back tonight.

“Oh she didn’t text me one”

“Oh and then she text me something gibberish, but I didn’t understand it so I never replied,”

“What was it?”

“What the hell?” I asked.

“See I guess she accidentally sent that”

“Sent what?” Cody asked coming into the living room with Kyle and Sam.

“This” Isaac showed the text to them.

Both Cody and Kyle put on confused faces.

“I wanna see!” Sam exclaimed. Isaac rolled his eyes and showed it to Sam.

“It says…help me, kidnapped by Dean’s ex girlfriend. What’s so confusing about that?” Sam piped.

“Sam that’s not funny” I said.

“I’m telling the truth! It’s Pig Latin! You guys don’t know what that is?” Sam exclaimed.

“Pig Latin?” Isaac and I questioned.

“I’ve heard about that! A couple of dorks at my school talk like that when they say something that doesn’t want to be heard” Kyle said.

“So that means…?” I asked.

“Your ex-girlfriend is taking revenge on your girlfriend” Cody deadpanned.

“Ashleigh kidnapped Georgia? She wouldn’t do that. Would she?” I asked.

“I told you she was psychotic went I first met her, but no, nobody wanted to listen to the 11 year-old” Kyle exclaimed.

“Well what am I supposed to do? I can’t exactly save her, I can barely walk and Ashleigh’s Dad is chief in our town, he wouldn’t believe us,” I hopelessly said.

“Why don’t I save her?” Isaac said.

“Or a better plan, tell mom and dad” Cody said.

“But, Mom and Dad loved Ashleigh they wouldn’t believe us,” I said.

“Yea, but we’re talking about Georgia here. I think they rather save Georgia then let her die” Cody replied.

“We have no proof,” I said.

“That text is proof!” Cody yelled.

“So you think they know Pig Latin and believe that my ex-girlfriend kidnapped Georgia to get back at me. Yea, Cody, they’re so going to believe us”

“Well we need to do something. What if she is psychotic and pulls a gun at us? We’re just kids! We need adult help,” Kyle said

Isaac cleared his throat, “well technically I am an adult”

“No one gives a shit! Your still young!” Cody yelled.

“Why doesn’t Dean make a deal with Ashleigh since she obvious wants something from him” Sam piped. What the hell? How is a 6 year old coming up with the brightest ideas? We all stared at him stunned.
