"Hi guys!" I walked into seventeen's practice room, their lunch in my hands. My eyes spotted my boyfriend, Woozi, automatically. I smiled sweetly and he returned it with his famous eye smile.
"(Y/N)!" Wonwoo and Mingyu came barrelling towards me, enveloping me in a giant bear hug.
"Hey, you two! How have you been?" I laughed at how much energy they had.
"We've been good," Wonwoo smiled.
"We've been practising really hard!" Mingyu hugged me tighter.
"That's always good to hear. Now, can you please let go of me so I can give the food to S.Coups?" I giggled.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry!" They hurriedly let go, allowing me to pass the food to S.Coups, who took it gratefully and set it out on a tablecloth on the floor.
"LET"S EAT!!" S.Coups shouted, everyone rushing towards the setup like a bunch of hungry hyenas.
I had started to walk towards Woozi, wanting to sit with him, but was suddenly grabbed and sat in between Wonwoo and Mingyu - those little troublemakers. So Woozi was forced to sit on the opposite side of me, next to Jun and Hoshi.
"Hey, (Y/N)," Wonwoo started.
"Hm?" I grabbed a box of chicken and shoved a piece of fried chicken in my mouth.
"I got you a present!" he smiled. "Do you want to see it?"
"Sure," I replied.
"Ok! I'll go get it," he ran off.
I placed another piece of chicken in my mouth, spotting the coke cans, which were situated next to Woozi.
"Hey, Woozi," he looked at me, and I smiled, "can you pass me a can?"He nodded, silently grabbing a can from the pile and leant over the food to hand it to me.
But then Mingyu reached for the coke pile and grabbed himself a can, handing it to me, just before Woozi could. Woozi kept his can, glaring at Mingyu with such ferocity I was surprised lasers hadn't shot out of his eyes and burnt Mingyu to a powder.
"Thanks," I was about to grab the can when Mingyu lifted it above his head. "Hey! Give that to me! I lunged at Mingyu, swiping at the can.
He just laughed, standing up and placing the can on his head. I was roughly the same height as Woozi, so both Mingyu and Wonwoo seemed like giants to me.
"That's just mean," I pouted.
"Wahh! Don't pout. I'm sorry!" he poked my cheek and gave me the coke.
We sat back down, laughing lightly. I looked back at Woozi, who was stabbing his chicken, quietly sulking.
"Hey, (Y/N), I'm back! And I have your present!" Wonwoo sat himself down and handed me the present.
I opened it, peering inside at what Wonwoo had bought. I pulled it out and chuckled at how predictable he was. It was a light pink beanie, the seventeen logo embroidered on the front. It was super pretty, I have to admit.
"Thank you, Wonwoo! It's so cute. I love it!" I smiled.
"No problem. Now, watch this!" he took the beanie out of my hands and turned it inside out, putting it on my head. "Now it says 'Adore U'! It definitely suits you."
"Really? Thanks, man," I grinned, quickly hugging him.
"No worries," he pecked my cheek.
All of a sudden Woozi stood up, pushing his box of chicken aside. He walked out of the room in silence, leaving the rest of us to stare after him, utterly confused.
"What's up with him?" Vernon looked at me, confused.
I shrugged, taking a sip of my coke. "I have no idea. But he was sitting next to you, Jun. Did he say anything to you?"
"Nope, nothing. Which is strange for him, because he usually never shuts up," Jun recalled "Oh, yes! I remember something else - he was giving terrifying death glares to Wonwoo and Mingyu. It was actually pretty funny."
"What? Why us?" they both cried out. "We didn't do anything!"
I chuckled, realising what was up with Woozi.
"Hey, (Y/N), what's so funny?" The8 looked at me quizzically.
"I think I know why Woozi left," I laughed at everyone's reactions.
"You do? Why?" they kept asking.
"I think my little Woozi is jealous," I smiled to myself. "So cute."
"Of us?" I nodded at Mingyu and Wonwoo.
"He's probably going to kill you after I leave," I laughed at their horrified faces.
"I don't want to die! (Y/N), you have to go talk to him!" Wonwoo sounded scared.
"Yeah! I don't want to be attacked with that guitar again!" Mingyu shuddered at the thought. "Alright," I sighed, picking up my box of chicken and coke. "Pray for me."I stood up and left the practice room, heading towards Woozi's office. I knocked on the door lightly, letting myself in.
"Hey, shortstuff," I closed the door behind me and headed towards his chair. "I brought chicken."
As I placed the chicken and the coke on his desk, Woozi pushed himself away from the desk, flinging his desk chair across the room.
I laughed, shaking my head, "What are you doing?"
Woozi stayed silent, the back of his chair facing me. I walked back across the room, standing to the side of his chair.
"Now, what's - " I was cut off as Woozi launched himself off the wall, back to his spot at his desk.
"Oh my goodness, Woozi, stooop~~~" I whined, walking back to the other side of the room.
And then he flung himself across the room. Again.
"Now you're just being an asshole," I pouted, staying where I was. Woozi just spun around in circles.
"Stop it; you're going to make yourself sick! Please just tell me what's wrong?" I was starting to get frustrated.
Woozi started turning again, but this time he stopped the chair halfway through its turn, facing me. He stared at me, his eyebrows raised in a judging glare.
"What?" I stared back.
"Firstly, I am only one centimetre smaller than you," he emphasised the words 'one centimetre'.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm still going to call you shortstuff. And secondly?"
"Secondly," he continued, the more he spoke, the quieter his words became.
"What? Speak up, I can't understand a word you're saying," Woozi frowned as I walked up to him.
"I said," he grumbled, "What's so good about Wonwoo and Mingyu?" he looked down at his feet.
"Aww, are you jealous?" I giggled.
"Hmph."
"Move your butt. I'm sitting next to you," he reluctantly moved to one side of the chair, allowing me to hop on.
I turned myself so that my legs rested on his thighs, my back leaning against the arm of the chair.
"Is it because I'm small?" he looked down and played with his hands. "Is that why you love them more than me?"He looked up at me, pouting.
My heart skipped a beat at how sad he looked.
"What? No way!" I reached up and caressed his cheek.
He frowned, "Then why do you love them more than me?"
"I don't," I sighed, "They are like brothers to me, so you have nothing to worry about."
"Are you sure?" he looked into my eyes, deciding if I was telling the truth.
"100%" I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder and kissed his neck. "I love you, not them."
I could hear him smile, "I love you, too."
"I'm glad, because for a minute there I thought you were going to kill me," I laughed, as he ruffled my hair. "And could you please push us over to the desk? I want some chicken."
"Alright," Woozi chuckled, "hold on."
I nodded, wrapping my arms around his chest. He kicked the wall, the chair speeding off towards his desk.
"We're going to die!" I tried not to squeal.
"No we're not," he slowed us down just before we hit the desk. "See?"
"Whatever. Let's have some chicken before we head back to the practice room," I grabbed the box of chicken and placed a piece in my mouth.
He nodded, grabbing the coke and taking a sip.
"Do you want some?" he held the can in front of my face, putting it up against my lips when I nodded. I took a sip, smiling when he put the can down.
"Thank you."Once the chicken and coke was finished, we reluctantly got out of the chair and headed towards the practice room.
"Promise me you won't kill Wonwoo and Mingyu," I asked Woozi as we stood in front of the door.
"I won't," he grinned. "On one condition."
"What...?" I was a little scared at his evil grin.
"This," Woozi lifted me up and put me over his shoulder.
"Yah! Put me down! I am not going in there on your shoulder," I punched his back.
"Yes you are!" he opened the door, walking in.
"Hey, (Y/N), did you- wow. What is going on?" S.coups shouted.
Woozi walked around the group, back to his spot. I rolled my eyes at him. He finally put me on my feet, quickly grabbing onto my waist so I couldn't escape.
"Yah, Woozi, is this really necessary?" I whined.
"It is, unless you want me to break the promise," he laughed, sitting on the floor, dragging me with him.
"Not fair," I frowned at Wonwoo and Mingyu, who gave me shocked looks.
'You owe me' I mouthed to them. They nodded and made hearts with their hands. I shook my head and laughed. We all started eating and drinking again, acting as if nothing happened.
When all of the chicken had been eaten and put away, we sat in a circle on the floor and started playing games.
"So, Joshua," Vernon grinned, "Hoshi or Seungkwan?"
"Hmm," Joshua looked at Hoshi and Seungkwan, both boys trying to win over his heart. "Hoshi."
"Yeah!" Hoshi yelled, hugging Joshua.
"Alright. Wonwoo," Joshua asked. "Mingyu or Jun?"
"Mingyu!" Wonwoo grabbed Mingyu, who grinned and hugged him back."S.coups. Hoshi or Jeonghan?"
Everyone knew the answer to that.
"Jeonghan!" S.coups leapt at Jeonghan, making everyone laugh. "(Y/N)," S.coups grinned evilly. "Wonwoo or Woozi?"
I felt Woozi tense, his grip on me tightening. I don't know why he was so nervous; of course I was going to choose him.
"Woozi, of course," I felt Woozi relax.
I looked over at Wonwoo, who was acting as if he'd been shot, "Why, (Y/N), why didn't you choose me?"
I was about to reply when Woozi held my face, squishing my cheeks so that it looked like I had fish lips.
"Because," he said, kissing my squished lips. "She loves me more than you. Isn't that right?
"Heyyy~~ is that really necessary?" S.coups sounded tired.
"Yup," Woozi did it again.
I frowned, trying to pry his hands off my face, but it wasn't working. "Yes, yes, I love you the most. Now will you stop?" I was getting embarrassed and I could feel my face getting redder by the second.
"Nope. This is your punishment for making me jealous," he kissed me again.
"Oh my god. Woozi, stop being disgusting," everyone groaned, making me even more embarrassed.
"I'm sorry!" I managed to say before Woozi kissed me again.
"My eyes!!" Dino screeched, falling backwards onto the floor, covering his eyes. "My poor, innocent eyes!"
Woozi just grinned evilly.
