"C'mon, time for bed," S.coups removed the laptop from my lap and placed it on the coffee table, trying to make me go to bed.
He reached for my hands, trying to pull me off the armchair. I groaned and swatted his hands away.
"But what about my work?" I asked sleepily and looked up at him through my fringe, which had fallen in front of my face.
He laughed and pushed my fringe out of my eyes, "Don't worry baby, your work will still be here tomorrow morning. For now you should get some rest. With me. In our bed. And definitely not on that uncomfortable armchair."
"But..." I tried to think of a good reason to keep working. "I need to work."
"But you also need to sleep," he played with my hair, pulling it out of its pigtail and wrapping it around his fingers, making me ever more tired.
"Don't do that. You know it makes me sleepy," I took hold of his hands and eased them out of my hair.
Seungcheol just grinned, trying to curl his fingers back into my hair.
I closed my eyes and smiled, pulling his hands away from my hair once again.
"Am I allowed five more minutes?" I opened my eyes and tried reaching for my laptop.
He lightly slapped my hand away, shaking his head.
"Nope, no more minutes," Seungcheol lowered himself so that we were face to face, his breath tickling my lips.
He smiled cheekily before holding my chin, placing his lips on mine. My eyes flittered shut as he continuously pecked my lips.
I tried kissing him back, but by the time I was aware of his lips on mine, he had already pulled back, the corner of his mouth turned up in a playful smirk.
"Yah, kiss me properly!" I pouted.
Seungcheol just grinned, "Not until you stop doing work and we go to bed."
"Ok, fine, I'll stop working. Maybe we should go to bed," I finally gave in, no thanks to Seungcheol's bribing. "But I might need some help getting there."
"Your wish is my command," he kissed my nose before pecking my lips again. "Do you think you can stand for a second?"
I nodded and he stood up slowly, waiting cautiously for me to follow suit. I did, stumbling a bit.
"Whoa, baby. Careful," he rested his hands on my hips, making sure I didn't fall over. "Do you want me to carry you?"
"Mhmm," I nodded, acting like a five year old.
"Alright. Just wrap your arms around my shoulders and jump. I'll do the rest," Seungcheol ordered, looking into my eyes.
I obliged, draping my arms lazily around his shoulders and jumped up onto him, wrapping my legs around his waist, nuzzling my head into his neck. He mumbled something along the lines of 'such a cutie' and kissed the top of my head. He wrapped his arms under my legs, holding me up.
"Let's go," he turned around, leaving the lounge room and all of my work behind.
I stayed relatively silent as he left the lounge room, only grumbling when Seungcheol pretended to trip, almost dropping me. He laughed heartily as I clung onto his shirt tightly.
"You know what?" I mumbled into his neck as he walked down the hallway towards our room.
"What?" he replied as he reached our bedroom, opening the door skilfully and turning on the light.
"I really love you," I gave his neck a quick kiss, sending a shiver down his spine.
"I love you too. More than you can even imagine," he kissed my shoulder before placing me on the bed.
I let go of him and climbed under the covers, laying my head on the extremely comfy pillows.
"That's good to know," I mumbled, reaching my arm across the empty side of the bed, "I would probably cry if you didn't love me."
"Well then, I guess you'll never cry again" he giggled, standing at the end of the bed, changing into his pjs, "Because I'll love you for forever and a day."
"Oh my god Seungcheol. You're cheesier than a cheeseburger," I blushed and hid my face in the pillows.
"You know it," finally he slipped into the bed, wriggling under the covers, right next to me.
"I do," I snuggled into his chest, hugging his waist. "So, when are you going to kiss me?"
He laughed as I looked up at him, curling his arms around my shoulders.
"You really want that kiss, don't you?" he chuckled, as I nodded.
"Yup," I grinned cheekily.
"Alright. Only because I promised," he smiled playfully and brought his face closer to mine.
But before his lips had the chance to reach mine, my hand had found itself covering his mouth.
"The only reason?" I raised an eyebrow.
He lightly pulled my hand away from his mouth, "And also because I love you very, very much."
"That's much better. You can kiss me now," I let my hand go back to his waist, sighing happily when our lips finally met.
"Just to let you know, you're a great kisser," I said once our lips separated, smiling.
"Why thank you," he laughed, kissing my forehead, "You're not so bad yourself."
I closed my eyes and tangled my legs with Seungcheol's, "I know."
He chuckled, before kissing the top of my head, "Goodnight jagiya. Sweet dreams. I love you."
"Night-night. Love you too," I remember mumbling before drifting off to sleep, safe in Seungcheol's arms.
