'So,"

"So.."

We said at the same time. I'm currently looking at all his pictures hanging on the wall, mostly him with his sister, and a beautiful woman, facial features just like Aiden himself, with nice brown eyes, and that I'd regard her as his mother, probably. I don't want to ask about his personal life but, our bonding time will get wasted if this continues. So I tried to start the conversation.

"Never mind, ladies first." Aiden plopping by the bed, putting his pillows behind him and lying beside me.

I sat beside him, but something soft poked my butt. "Uh." I stood up wanting to know what was it and surprisingly, it was a well-knitted green toy dragon.

I immediately burst into laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAJJSJSHAAB!"

"I hope you choke and die." Aiden roll his eyes and quickly snatch the toy away and put on his lap.

"Sorry dude but you sleep with-" I laugh out of control again. "A toy dragon!"

"Yeah, why can't I. Idiot." He humph me and he put his toy dragon in between us.

I stop laughing and finally calm down. "Its fine but for your kind of taste? Damn I thought you're full of skateboards or Lego's instead. No offence."

"None taken. Well I'm different then." Aiden smile and look me in the eye. "This, my mom knitted it for me when I was young."

I cut him off, "that's why it stinks, full of your saliva. I'm gonna name it Stinky."

We laugh momentarily and he continues. "This my friend, have been with me for years and every time I have problems I go to him other than my sister."

"So...wheres-" I decided to joke with him asking where are his other nonsensical toys but he cut me off instead and continue looking at me with his soft eyes.

"Yeah, where's my mom?" He added, sighing too.

"No I don't mean that." I quickly chuck in my words but he ignore me.

"Well let's just say I was a lazy shithead previously and a dumbass or any more fantastic adjectives to describe my atrocious attitude, my mom worked hard for me and my sister and that she was a single mom, it's even harder." He stop and staring at me at the same time.

I look at him wanting him to continue as I listen, but he continued looking at me.

"What?" I decided to ask.

He shakes his head lightly and continue. What's with the stopping.

"Um so she work and work. Work til she got a heart attack and she left us for a better place."

I said nothing and just did the impossible.

I hugged him.
