The real date

*Fionna's POV* 

We soon reached a neighborhood park.Marshall took a basket and his guitar out from the carriage and brought me down the horse carriage. 

"My lady"he said as he held out his hand.I giggled and followed his lead. 

"Thank you,you're such a kind man."I said with an accent. 

Marshall brought me to the park where we sat under a tree,looking at the stars.Marshall unloaded the items in the basket and there were... 

20 ham and chese sandwiches cut into little triangles,4 cans of soda,a candle,5 cupcakes and 5 muffins! 

Marshall took everything out and lighted the candle.He opened 2 cans of soda and passed me a can. 

"Beautiful,isn't it?"he said. 

"It sure is."I replied as I grabbed a sandwich.He took out his guitar and started playing a song.

I rested my head onto his shoulder and he brought me closer to him as he placed his arm on my shoulder.It felt warm and cozy in his arms like as if there were only the two of us left in the world. 

*Marshall's POV* 

The feeling with her head on my shoulder was something I never felt before not even from Marceline.It was like everything clear and right when Fionna was with me and there is nothing better to have her by my side.Both of us soon grew tired and we slept with that position until sunrise. 

The next day,I woke up before Fionna and was a relief that it was a Saturday and not a weekday.Fionna's eyes slowly fluttered open and I called out to her softly. 

"Good morning Fionna." 

*Fionna's POV* 

"Good morning Fionna."I heard a voice called out to me.I woke up with Marshall dark eyes staring not my blue ones. 

"Good morning Marshy."I replied.I created that nickname for him. 

"We slept out for the whole night."I said. 

"Yeah,we did."he said. 

There was an awkward silence when I suddenly realise... 

"Oh my god,we slept out for the whole night!"I said.We laughed at the thought of us getting scolded by our parents. 

"Thank you for last night."I said to him.He smiled an angelic smile.We then packed up our stuff.I kissed him on the cheek which he returned to me.I waved goodbye and went back home like the happiest person on earth.
