Tears well up in Jennifer's eyes.  It's October 11, 2011, and she is walking toward the gorgeous man waiting for her at the alter.  She's accompanied by her father and she thinks back to all the fun times she shared with her soon to be husband in that short walk to the alter.  All the laughing and crying, the joy and the heartaches that come with all relationships but most importantly she realized she is marrying her best friend.  She reflects back on their first date and how quickly he stole her heart.  Jennifer remembers standing before him and reciting her vows written by her especially for him.  His eyes tearing slightly and melting her heart showing his more tender side.
She flashes forward a few days to their honeymoon and the rose pedals so romantically strewn over the floor leading to the bed as he carried her over the threshold.  The amazing sex they had the first night of their honeymoon.  The blissful years that followed and the love that grew with each passing day.  Her heart aching as she flashes forward to two months ago when she told Mark of her promotion and when the first big deposit came from the program that James set up.  Her eyes had widened when the amount totaled over $50,000.  She decided to celebrate by spoiling Mark with a vacation back to Mexico where they had their destination, buying him a new expensive watch and a new camera.  Photography as a hobby is his passion and she got him the new top of the line Nikon camera and all the bells and whistles to go with it.  She explained all this money being spent as a bonus she got for her promotion, her first lie she ever told her husband.  Thinking now as to the web of lies she would be spinning to explain how her day was of her husband asked.
As Jennifer is lost in thought, Simeon is also remembering the day that his forensic accountant told him that $10,000 was missing from his account.  He was a man who built his empire from the bottom through his own  blood, sweat and tears.  He took theft very seriously especially when it came to his hard earned money.  He was a man about total control and he began his plan to learn about these two thieves as soon as he was told about their supposed "stealth" program that extracted his money.  They thought that with all his billions that he wouldn't miss the $10,000.  James, the "brain" behind the scam didn't really interest him and he would handle him with brute force.  No, it was Jennifer that intrigued him.  A happily married, newly promoted Vice President of the very bank he used to invest his billions.  She would be the focus of his demented scheme, her once fairytale life would be turned upside down and she would wish she never heard of the name Simeon Carver.
