The silence in the room was deafening, until of course the Head spoke; his rough, squeaky voice filling the thick silence. I sighed, the usual annoyance filling my being. I hunched over, rubbing my forehead as he began to speak. Can I not go five minutes without frigging cramps, it felt like someone was starting up a chainsaw in my uterus. I looked to the side, catching Quinn's face. His jaw was clenched. Why? He isn't in pain. He shouldn't look like he's in pain, is he bleeding out his vagaina? I think not!

"Ayla, you are not required in the school for a week. You will go pack your things and leave the school in under an hour, am I understood?" His voice was stern as his stupid girly voice filled the air. I held back the choking feeling in my throat as he spoke once more. My god mother nature is a bitch.

"As you will not be needed in the school for a week, we expect you to revise over the exam questions you have covered this term. I will email you the material you will need to cover, do you understand this Ayla?" My voice cracked when I spoke.

"Yes Sir." He nodded and then turned to face Quinn.

"The same applies to you Quinn." I startled, surprised that he got punishment. Annoyance filled his face as he stared at the Head, he didn't look at me.

"Well, both of you. Out of my office, I have important things to do. You are dismissed."

"Wait! Why does Quinn have absence when I was the one that caused his nuts to jump into his throat?" The Head frowned as Quinn coughed, muffling a snort.

"I heard that he verbally attacked you." I snorted.

"His, 'verbal attacks' couldn't harm a fruit fly. Sir, I really wasn't bothered by this-yeah he was being kind of a dick." He glared at me. "But, he shouldn't lose out on something just because of a few mea-"

"I still hurt that girl though." I nodded, agreeing with him for a moment before I spoke again.

"Yeah you did, you were insensitive. But that doesn't mean that you have to lose out on your education." He shook his head from side to side.

"I need this time off so that I can understand woman better. So that I don't offend you all as quickly. "I snorted.

"We, as girls need to grow a backbone. You are being completely inequal, you wouldn't think the same if you said it to a guy either. if we want equality that means we need to be okay with being called a bitch if guys are okay with being called a bastard. "

"Okay, I understand that but just because you had that reaction doesn't mean every other girl would. Plus, guys don't really care to be honest. If it was someone with self-esteem issues then I would have really have taken an affect on that person. Sir, please allow me to have this 'expulsion' because it will allow me to further rectify this situation in future conflicts."

"Objection!" I was talking loudly now. "Girls need to learn how to defend themselves, yes- I agree that your words would have a hurt a girl with low self esteem but nowadays girls are finally being comfortable in their own bodies. We are learning to disregard what boys say and do what we like. It's thanks to Caitlyn Jenner and an amalgamation of other people that we are learning its okay to be true to who we are, I don't want to sit here and listen to you preach about how girls need to be looked after, that we're weak, that we need defending. I will stand and proudly say that we, as girls, don't need your bull-" Head glared at me. "shoot defence and we can stand up for ourselves. Guys don't seem to realise that girls can stand up for themselves!"

"My point still stands Ayla. I could have really hurt someone." His tone was calm as he spoke, annoyance filled me and I turned around to face him.
